Semi-official petition to restore GGs original super duration while wearing symbiote
Why is it if a hunter wants to increase its super efficiency it has to sacrifice something.....its exotic armor for a reason

Yes please. Waste of exotic slot ATM. don't wear it if you wanna get your shots off. without it I was landing 3 shots with no problem. when I put it on I was hitting 2 shots and struggling with time for the 3rd... WTF IS THAT SHIT! they give u an extra shot but put the time down so much you struggle taking 3 shots.

4 RepliesI'm pretty sure the only real reason that the time was reduced, the only place that its actually OP, is mayhem. Stormcaller is best for all other 6v6, but in mayhem golden gun runs shit already. With an extra shot in mayhem without reduced time would be too insane, and although symbiote was one of my most used y1 exotics and I am very disappointed its butchered, I can still agree with that.

I loved the Achlyophage Symbiote during Y1 and was really excited for it to come back in Y2...until they announced its total destruction. Guess I should have expected it.

Agreed. I main a Warlock and barely played as my hunter in year one but I remember wasting my GG cause I didn't take the time I had to think about my shots. With that time now decreased I can imagine how anxious players feel. I say add three seconds to make it 15 [spoiler]also the bird is the word[/spoiler]

At least increase it by like 3 seconds or something, I rarely have time to get off three shots without spamming them.

I think the point Bungie is trying to make is that to use Symbiote when the time is right and you will get those four kills. Or if you miss once then it wouldn't matter. Not give you an opportunity to get easy four kills with the time you have with three golden gun shots,

Agreed. That helmet was my favorite Hunter helm. Then typically Bungie ruins it.

When I wear symbiote I have time to get off two shots and when I dont, I manage to get all three shots off.

3 RepliesI don't main a hunter but I have one and it seems to go faster with that helmet on. I was surprised. It should last as long as a Titans hammer or warlocks Storm caller. I have one of each and would like to see the GG stretched a bit more like the others.

It's useless. I tried to use symbiote during IB and never actually had time to shoot four times. I stopped wearing it as its a wasted exotic... Sad. It used to be my favorite exotic.
