From great games like Marathon, Halo, Pathways into Darkness, Oni & Minitor to the fake MMO we play now, I have to ask you why? Why have the years gone by? Why have you stopped creating such great games? There are so many great elements you could taken from your old games and have added to Destiny but you simply ignore them! Please stop with the Sparrow races and nerfing! I loved Marathon and It's complex level design and that enemies just came out of nowhere. Most of all it's the precursor to Halo, and most people don't even know that. Halo had such amazing new landscapes you could explore and such cool enemies. What happened to those designes?
Now you just do redundant mission to win something you dont even need/like, return to this tiny tower with over 20 currencies, then play in the Crucible just to laggout! And even when you do get to the top of the scoreboard you usually dont win anything! Worst of all you decided to add a paywall with the latest DLC! What the hell Bungie?!! Sometimes I think people are right when they say Microsoft destroyed your culture. You just don't seem like the same Bungie from when I would game on my old PowerMac.

They don't know, 21?

Herald Ryan and Activision

They need to ditch the shared world in Destiny 2

Edited by Alpha3371: 1/10/2016 11:03:05 PMIf you ever want to relive the good old days of Bungie, their Marathon series (the precursor to Halo) are now open source and free to play. You can download them from the link at the top of this comment. There's also an XBox Live Arcade version of Marathon 2 called "Marathon: Durandal". An iOS version is also available.

Because they made a kids game

Because f.uck you, that's why. ~Love Bungie

The blame lies solely on the board of directors at bungie and the time table activision gave them. Kotaku has a very interesting article about it.

Bungee has turned to the dark side

http://kotaku.com/the-messy-true-story-behind-the-making-of-destiny-1737556731[/quote] This is why, and just so you know. A lot of the original Bungie devs moved over to 343, quite or was fired. Might give you an idea why the game is nowhere where it should be and the lack of much needed content. It was cut or will not be added to sell to the community pice by pice so the lazy devs there now don't have to put really any effort on making an actual game.

Anyone else find it ridiculous that people now have to petition to get Bungie to add things to the game? I sure as hell do.

One word: Activision
-
Yes the game is so bad that TTK was the most downloaded content of the year on PSN. Is so bad that IGN has its own show about it. Is so bad that the gaming community can't stop talking about it. Is so bad that everyone is just starving for more.

I heard a lot of the Original Bungie employees stays with Microsoft n made 343. Ive heard it from both sides. Some even say Bungie split cause Microsoft was restricting their creative freedom. But then the go and become slaves to Activision. Not a smart move that was.
-
Hey! Oni wasn't that good :)
-
Activision And for those who are like "stop pinning the blame on them" if you take the time to look at their budget they have way less money to develop this game compared to other installments and hence they can't do much which is why they are starting to ease in micros and what not for more revenue. Don't believe me? Then look it up

Maybe they were blinded by the light? JK: I would have to agree to most of what you put here. I have not played most of their earlier stuff, as I started with the first Halo and enjoyed that series immensely. So when I started hearing/reading/watching videos and interviews about Destiny, I got super-hyped. So, when it finally came out, I was a little let down, but just figured that it would improve - unfortunately, what they have done and continue to do has been a real let-down.

their best game was Myth 2: Soulblighter. its being all a ling downfall since.
