3. Distress Call- Devin- Hunter
"F*cking Hive, they're not getting away with this, hell no", thought the hunter as he prepared his sniper rifle for the hunt for his friends.
He disassembled his gun and quickly oiled it. It almost looked like second nature the way he assembled everything. Then again hunters are known for they're high respect for their weapons.
He heard the screaming of sparrows.
He didn't let it distract him. He had a mission.
"We heard you need back up, any new information", asked Tervok.
"No, but we need to hurry, Thrall don't just carry off guardians if its not a order from a wizard or a knight", said Devin.
Devin's ghost popped up and scanned Obadiah.
Soon both Finn and the hunters ghost where scanning each other gathering information.
"He's only a rookie!", gasped Devins ghost Melanie.
"Hey he killed a captain and 5 dregs single handed", defended Finn.
"I thought you said 3 enemies previously", pointed out Tervok's ghost.
"Shut it ghost, this is a rescue mission, what are we waiting for Hunter?", asked Tervok.
"The calvary....which looks to me like we are gonna lose a warlock", he predicted looking Obadiah up and down, "not that it will do much of a difference, let's go."
Devin took out his sparrow and raced towards the entrance with the rest of the fireteam behind him. Taking in a deep breath and enjoying the fresh air his filtered helmet gave him.
Once inside he stepped off his sparrow in search for any little thing that would lead him to his friends.
He crouched and his ghost scanned the floor for any lead.
Obadiah held his auto rifle tight. He looked around and tried memorizing the way just in case he got separated.
The dark hallways oozed dark liquid and smelled putrid but the Hunter and Titan didn't seem phased by the odor. Tervok kept look out while the Hunter continued his search.
"Stay close newbie, can't tell you how many guardians like you get lost in these tunnels", said Tervok.
Finn blinked a sign of acknowledgement. Obadiah was definitely not going exploring.
"Found something. Looks like deep scratches in the floor, must be Derek's armor", observed Devin.
They walked down the tunnels, quietly, listening for the slightest movement. The deeper they went down the never ending tunnels the darker the environment felt. Obadiah felt uneasy, like his light was being constructed and sapped away. Finn sensed this and flashed a light down the hallway.
"Save your light Warlock, relax, just follow closely and focus on the sound of our steps", ordered Devin.
Beginners, thought Devin. He hated babysitting but he knew a extra gun could be the difference from a successful mission and being engulfed by darkness. He hated the hive more than the annoyance of a fresh guardian so he decided to put up with the warlock. The tunnel split into two and it was either left or right. Great. The scratching seemed to go left yet this wasn't a guarantee that both of them were there. It could be a trap set by a Knight. No he couldn't doubt himself. He looked over his shoulder and waved left. He had to find his friends. Even if it meant risking his life.
His thoughts went back to the warlock.
We should've left him up top, he isn't ready, oh well. It's just a rookie warlock.

Wow dark and intense, love it. Might I suggest you create a table of contents making it easier to go from story to story?
