Seriously Bungie, dont listen to anybody with a mouth because now blade dancer is the most useless subclass. everyone whined about it and now the only way to kill people with blade dancer is with flux grenades or hitting people with the super BUT Only whe they aren't in super, otherwise -blam!- your blade dancer it doesn't do shit. more like blade cancer now. arc bolt only chains to one enemy now and there's no way to survive anything. honestly if you're going to make a subclass about getting up close and personal, don't -blam!-ing nerf the armor you idiots. you gave us swords that increased armor so we could get close, so why cant blade dancer have that kind of armor? even with a maxed out armor stat and arc class armor perks I'm still getting Saitama'ed by titans and warlocks. and don't nerf the other classes anymore. just STOP nerfing. eventually we are going to feel like we are shooting each other with marshmallows and having pillow fights. Just place buffs where they are needed to balance things out. at least then we still feel like we have some power.
Edit 1: to clear things up a bit, i wrote this at 3 am so i was a bit dramatic. and also the only thing i am really callig for is for a small armor buff while super is active.

Bladedancers: The Pluto of Subclasses
-
-
I don't care about armor, I just want the damn hit registration better!!!! Damn Bungie. What the hell.
-
Didn't read Bladedancers DO suck
-
Just go invisible if you're having problems getting close enough or use it in an enclosed space rather than in a wide open area where you'll get -blam!-ed up before you get to your target. They're awesome for ripping through Titan bubbles and if you move in zigzags by meleeing rather than walking up to your target they're pretty hard to kill
-
1. Skip grenade>Arcbolt due to the arcbolt nerf. 2. Backstab is decent, if it actually connects. 3. Quickdraw is still one of, if not the best subclass perk in the game. 4. Blink is OK, still better than floating like a warlock. 5. Bladedance itself needs a hit detection fix. EDIT: Forgot to add hungering blade, which is a balanced perk.
-
They added new emotes. What do you mean?
-
use selah ahamkara grasps with them and skip Nades OP AF
-
Let's see, blade dancer is still amazing an I Love reking kids with it in pvp. If you aren't able to do good with it then that's your fault, maybe you shouldn't suck so much DICK
-
Tbh I wish we could make these topics sticky so.they sit at the top of the forum, Bungie do it to us so why not the other way round? It would be nice for them to even acknowledge there is an issue with this sub-class....
-
got my 3rd Twilight Garrison
-
My only complaint is it drains so fast even with 3rd man equiped .....iits supose to be an up close super but only time u can kill ppl is if they not paying attention.....and takes 2 hits to kill someone thats bull-_-
-
True, I get killed by one hammer from a hammer of sol or 2 shocks from a stormtrance, yet it takes me two strikes to kill a titan or a warlock using their super when I'm using my arc blade. Also, It still takes two shots to kill a sunbreaker using their super with my golden gun. Another thing, I also can't seem to kill a max armor titan with my arc blade when they aren't even using their super.
-
Edited by Ken Rocker: 1/7/2016 4:56:16 PMI got tarantella and it seems to help bladedancer by giving it y1 charge up rate. Hit detection still sucks though! I had to go back to using sticky grenades in order to get a reliable kill...
-
I used to use bladedancer ALLL the time. I didn't even have gunslinger fully leveled. Since I got TTK all I ever use is nightstalker because I've noticed how ineffective bladedancer has become. I dunno what they did cuz I don't keep up w the updates. but they did something cuz even compared to nightstalker which is a more defense based subclass, it sucks.

Lol: love your edit. Been there. I was in support of your post, mostly, although I was concerned about the direction you might be going. Then o got to the part where you made a global statement asking them to stop nerfing any subclasses. That's where you won my support.
-
I shouldn't post how I use the subclass cuz then I'll never get that Jolly Holliday mission done because of nerfs. BUT blade dancer is OP in ways you can't possibly IMAGINE! The skirmish games I went positive for the last 2 days are because of how I used it. And check out my KD, you know I suck, so how'd I do it in a game mode that requires more skill????

Edited by suggestedpigeon: 1/7/2016 5:26:37 PMI'm on the arc grenade kills part of the bladedancer subclass quest. I don't think this is going to happen. Their grenades are horrendous, even lucky raspberry arcbolt is a shadow of its former self. 93 damage means even if I I melee and then chuck an arcbolt at their head they can still survive. Utterly rediculous. Oh and as far as the super goes just use razor's edge. If you absolutely have to r1 double and triple tap the body in case it hit but did nothing.

Edited by BoricIsland4985: 1/6/2016 5:37:31 PMBro , bladedancer is not underpowered
-
The hitboxes are all screwed up. It's really not bad if it actually took one hit to kill
-
Hit detection *drops mic
-
Edited by S_A_M_A_D_: 1/6/2016 8:35:43 PMBladedancer is great in pvp. In pve it's just useless. The raid basically has no use for a person to turn invisible and bladedancer generates like 2 orbs. I would use it though if they gave it a small damage buff in pve only
-
If you suck at bladedancer you probably suck at everything.
-
Just the hit detection needs fixed. That's all. Arc bolts need their y1 glory and we need a y2 Lucky Raspberry
-
The subclass has a great neutral game. The super needs better hit detection and complete lunges so you don't short stop.
