Damien stands alone in the hangar... These were his last few minutes left on the Avalon... The last few minutes before his final departure. This wasn't a farewell, it was a simple end. Departed from logic, hateful. He stares out a viewport with a glare in his eyes. Anumi watched him from afar, confused and angered. How could he just leave? To give up on her? Caldon got to him... She didn't know what... But Damien was different. She wanted to yell, tell him how wrong he was but no words came. He offered up the first challenge. His kind were good at mind games... But Damien was the deadliest.
"I don't know why I helped your kind... The monster you are... You should rot for your crimes."
The words hit deep. Precision was his talent and he executed it perfectly.
"You failed me... My brother... All of us. I should have killed you when I had the chance."
He turns from her, giving no more comfort, no more safety. Her final words to him were bleak and quiet.
"I forgive you..."
He shudders but says no more. The quiet silence is draining. Damien waits, as if for something to take him from the Avalon. From this point forward... He was an enemy.
