Considering that Shadowshot is rather lackluster in PvP, it's only fair that Nightstalkers have a very powerful neutral game to make up for it.

because its a SUPPORT class
-
It doesn't support shit shit in crucible
-
To be fair neither does defender. Support roles weren't really designed to shine in PvP I think. Bungie fumbled on that one.
-
Defender is the closest thing to support and shines in comparison to sunsingers and nightstalkers
-
I disagree. Shadowshot is way better. The amount of orbs you can generate. The abilities. Sharing damage when tethered. All hits becoming crits. It's mobile. It has great neutral game in addition to the super. Throwable melee. It actually kills. Evasive move. It outshines defender.

I'm talking about crucible. I love nightstalker in pve it's so flexible compared to a bubble
-
Ah gotcha. I mean even in PvP though. One big advantage IMO is that it's mobile. Imagine a mobile bubble. That'd be OP as hell lol.
-
It's really only mobile if you use quiver. Because once a tether is shot it's not mobile. Smokes are great but it's not really a support tactic in crucible. Defender is the only crucible support basically

sunsingers has a really good neutral game. Nightstalker can make a lot of orbs, and has a pretty good melee and grenade if used well. Defender can defend caps, secure heavy/areas. Free orbs
