The Trail of a Lost Guardian
One Year before Oryx invaded our Solar System, there was a Hunter by the name of Artemis Vale. One of the most elite Guardians we had, and one of the first Nightstalkers, she disappeared on a mission to Venus, investigating a Taken Surge of power. Her last known Coordinates were somewhere around the Citadel. As she went to the back of it, we lost her signal, and couldn't find it again. Now, a year later, a distress beacon with her signature has been located beneath the Citadel. Go to the Citadel, rescue the Hunter, and bring her back safely. How will you know when you see her? She wears Silver and Black trials armor. Good luck, Guardian.

Alice stands at the entrance of the Citadel, looking up high, with her Dead Zone Cloak drifting lazily in the wind. "Well, I wonder if she's nice." She smiles under her helm, before stepping into the entrance, her hand cannon on her right leg, her sidearm on her left.
-
The only thing leading beyond the Citadel was the little side entrance. A nice place to start.
-
Alice starts walking towards the side entrance, wary of any signs of danger.
-
It was darker than usual in there, with no lights whatsoever.
-
She walks in, and starts searching for a way up the citadel, or for any sign of the year old guardian.
-
It became too dark for her to see anything now. A light would be needed before continuing.
-
She taps a button on her wrist and her head light flashes on, illuminating the area she's looking at.
-
she was in the hallway that bent into the large open room with the Gravity Lift. She heard a couple of soft beeps and whirs.
-
She walks forward with confidence, ready in her surroundings for anything to attack her.
-
Her head bonked on something, and she heard a few more beeps and whirs. Maybe you could watch where you're going next time? A voice had said.
-
She looks towards what hit her on the head and saw nothing, for she would have seen it if it was some sort of structure. She turns and looks at her surroundings. "Lokumi? Was that you?" She whispers to the still air, but she gets no reply from the one named Lokumi.
-
Lokumi? Who's that? Haven't seen anyone go through here for years.
-
"Ah, your not it. Never mind." Alice does a bow to the air. "Alice Long, a pleasure to hear you. And if you haven't seen anyone come through here in ages, then you've missed a lot."
-
Alice saw the faint outline of a ghost in front of her, slowly fade into view. It wasn't because it was dark, had something to do with this ghost's ability. Nice to meet you too. I've waited for my Guardian here. Haven't seen anyone since then.
-
"Who is the Guardian? I might be able to help." She walks towards the ghost.

Edited by Riven: 1/9/2016 1:16:24 AMHer name was Artemis. She told me to wait around here for her return. That was two years ago. No one's come since then.
-
"Two years? Huh, okay then. Well, I'm looking for a female Guardian wearing black and white trials gear. Would she be Artemis?"
-
That would, indeed.
-
"Honestly, I'm surprised you're light is still alive. Two years you said? That's a long time, you sure you're alright?"
-
Perfectly fine, miss. I was built with a sort of power-save mode. I activated my motion sensors which you tripped after coming here. I've been in Power-Save ever since.
-
"Hmm... Okay then. Well if you want to accompany in my search for Artemis, you can." Alice strides over to the Gravity lift.

-
I'd like that very much. Has Venus changed that much in these two years?
-
"Besides the Vault of Glass being cleared out? Skolas, the Kell of the House of Wolves, escaped from the Prison of Elders, attempted to take over all the other House. That's pretty much it for Venus." She walks up to the lift controls then starts fiddling with it. "Crota, son of Oryx, came to take the Travelers light. Then personally me and a team went and cut his head off. That enraged Oryx, so he came to our solar system to avenge his dead son. But then a different team of Guardians went and sent his corpse spinning off into space." As she was talking, she manually activated the lift, making it go straight up.
-
Oh.. Also, she didn't go up. She went down, He said, motioning towards the pit below the lift.
