Ooo. Fancy. [b]He looks around and starts walking towards an open table[/b]

[b]Jakob follows, and when they sit, a waiter approaches. Jakob orders a burger and some rum[/b]

[b]Nobody orders Alfredo and whiskey[/b]

[b][i]The food is brought, and Jakob starts eating.[/i][/b]

[b]Nobody picks up his fork and takes a bite, savoring it[/b] Didn't think I'd live long enough to taste something this good.

"None of us do. I just enjoy the ride while it's still going."

Good motto. So how long you been here?

"Long enough to be promoted twice."

Oooo. You're all fancy like [b]He takes a long drink of the whiskey[/b]

"Nope. I'm just a guy with a greyhound who loves to shoot stuff."

"Probably not. He's been with me for a while."

Ah, well. A boy can dream. Though I think that this is a dream. Now, about that story. [b]He downs the rest of his glass, and sits back with his hands on his stomach.[/b]

"Oh yeah. That's a long, long tale. If you want to know..." He says, and the atmosphere changes. The lightheartedness of his speech is replaced with seriousness. "...ill tell you." [spoiler]ill PM you my guys sheet cause I don't feel like typing it[/spoiler]

[b][i]He explains how he was put in for money for his family, how he had found grey, and the greyhound saved his life. He talked about how some formed a kingship, preying on the weak. He explained how he was forced to kill them, to protect the others, and himself. He talks about how they escaped, and how he's been in the military ever since.[/i][/b] "And all this was for an experiment."

An experiment towards what exactly? Human and animal cooperation and symbiotic relationships?

"They wanted to see if the animals would take on the personality of the owner or vise versa, and to see if they could instil a sense of... Well understanding towards the animals. And it worked. I understand grey, and him me. I know what he's thinking, what he says, everything."
