Oryx Challenge is Impossible
Its too hard, its basically impossible.
I cant use the no knight strat and its too hard any other way.
Can anyone give me some tips or help me?
I play on the Xbox One if youre willing to help.
Edit 1: For all you kids telling me to git gud or calling me a skrub please stop it really hurts my feelings
Edit 2: 90% of you kids saying youre better than me are filthy liars
Edit 3: Seems like titans are a crutch for this part can anyone confirm?

Did it one run last night. Find a better team, watch videos, throw AOE grenade at your ogre, Snipe your knight, run to bubble, kill vessel, 4th knight, shooting ads, then wait to tether thrall till say "oryx has regained power of darkness, go in shade, kill oryx shade, dont die in shade for love of god, rinse repeat, on fourth rep go to bubble, kill shooting ads, count down from 5, get in bombs, wait to see your name, run back, shoot oryxs chest to keep it open for max damage, dance a jig, run to front and shoot him, teabag him, get loot, write longest run on sentence in history.

All the people saying 2 Titans are weak, you can easily do it with one Titan (have done it many times on mine) But to say a crutch I don't think so, if you think like that they are all crutches, I use my Titan for bubble, warlock to take the death by the shade and self Rez, and hunter to kill shade and make orbs at the start

6 RepliesThe two titans are really all you need shooting the ogres the ones on the platform just throw a grenade and look for your knight. Relic gets it jump up top won't Titan bubble with blessings. Wait for relic holder to get there or if not use your tom with blessings . After flinch drop down and kill adds. Have a different Titan with Armor of light drop it in the very middle of the echo bubble. When echo slams make sure everyone is in the armor of light barely takes any damage. Rinse and repeat.

4 RepliesLast night tried Oryx challenge once again....this time with a group of 317 and higher....thought this was it....finally a great strong group and i was going to get it done. Am a 317 Titan running middle with blessing of light. We were running pretty well the first run until somebody died....wipe. But soon there was glitching...everybody had green bars. I was shooting the vessel knight to almost no health and then suddenly he was full health again....over and over again in the same run...Oryx and no other adds were getting DPS...glitch...we wipe. We returned to orbit to reset....still some glitching but not as bad. Well about the 8th run we finally just got our 3rd set of blights and shade pops up...i am the 4th to enter. As i spawn in the bastard boss slams me with the freaking sword and i die....WTH? Didn't even have a chance to jump....just instant death. The guys tried to complete, but a blight was in a bad place and everyone ended up dying. We tried a few more times but glitching got bad again and then people started dropping out....group disbanded. So tired of this. It is bad enough trying to find good teams through LFG, but the lagging and glitching is ruining any chance of me finishing the challenge for Oryx. Hell, near impossible to do hard mode either with the glitching.

I had a group yesterday and we all new what we were doing except for the sixth , I joined a 315+ on the forums and saw a 307 and thought aw crap , he died every time cause he couldn't get to the aura or he stayed on his plate to long

It's literally so easy, everyone needs a sniper, kill your ogre as soon as it pops up and then snipe the knight, runner needs a sword to get last knight (Yellow bar one) and boom, Knights done Shade comes up, stay away from the front, snipe both Knights when they come out, when he's about to slam, get a warlock with self res to get right in front of him and try to make him slam early (better to lose a warlock than a titan or a hunter) if he kills you, self res, if not, perfect. Tether him as soon as he slams Kill him Now rinse and repeat.
