Oryx Challenge is Impossible
Its too hard, its basically impossible.
I cant use the no knight strat and its too hard any other way.
Can anyone give me some tips or help me?
I play on the Xbox One if youre willing to help.
Edit 1: For all you kids telling me to git gud or calling me a skrub please stop it really hurts my feelings
Edit 2: 90% of you kids saying youre better than me are filthy liars
Edit 3: Seems like titans are a crutch for this part can anyone confirm?

Find a good team and it isn't that hard. Everyone needs a really good sniper and Touch of Malice. You need at least two titans to protect with bubbles in the middle or on top where the sisters stand.

Two titans on top where sisters are. One with weapons and one with blessing. They kill ogres. Each person on plate kills respective night except for the fourth night he is responsibility of one of the top titans. Save blights until sixteen are stacked then detonate.

Help the Ogre killers from ur platform with Rockets or Machine gun rounds. The get out a sniper and camp the Knight spawn location, and keep doing that

5 RepliesEdited by munkt0r: 1/6/2016 2:12:03 PMDid it last night. Twice. With a pick up group. Best way is with 2 titans that stay in center. One uses WoL and the other BoL. Assign 3 people to platforms (1,2,&3) based on where Oryx slams. The 6th person is runner. Make SURE he's using a sword to slay the vessel knight. The rest is understanding the Oryx fight mechanics. I'm not going to explain all of that.

1 ReplyTry the strategy that we use, you need two titans up on the daughters platforms with blessings, weapons, and touch of malice. The titans take care of the ogres and the plate guardians only need to toss a grenade to help the titans then the focus on their Knights while on the plate. The ogres do not last long, and the Knights can be killed before they even take a step! The last Knight is the responsibility of the Titan team. We have completed the Oryx challenge and regular runs doing this method.

1 ReplyIt is actually fairly simple. I thought it was hard for the longest time. 1. You need to have people, including yourself that know what they exactly need to do. It may take a while, but if your team can at least down the first batch of ogres and kill the shade, then you have a fighting chance. 2. Callouts are very important. Use them. Don't be afraid to say something. You killed that 4th knight as he spawned? Shout it, everyone needs to know. Oryx Slammed a second time? Call it out. Shade coming in? Fly above him and call out. 3. Stay calm in the end. It's exciting to be able to take him down with all 16 orbs, but don't choke. Keep a mindset that you are detonating orbs as usual, and stay in there until you see your name pop up multiple times, even if it may kill you. Detonating those orbs is top priority.

You WILL need a good sniper rifle other than spindle. The vanguard 1000 yard is excellent for PvE. Crouch at the back of your platform. Toss a grenade at the ogre that spawns closest to you. You then need to snipe your knight as soon as he spawns. (right after your ogre dies). Two head shots (or 4 body shots) with 1000 yard will suffice. Be listening for the runner to call out he has relic so you can immediately run to the titan bubble after your knight is down. Pretty much after that don't get smashed by the shade.

It's not impossible. I did it 4 times yesterday and it only took an hour the first time and the other 3 times it went quick. You just have to find the right team or else its hard as -blam!-. I know because last time this challenge was out I spent 18+ hours to try and beat it once.
