"Ain't that the truth. Can't we just get a drink with the IF and then beat the shit out of them?"

He sits up. "Well, here's how it went." He says, and starts explaining
-
Nobody leans forward, growing entranced in the story as it goes on.
-
He explains how he was put in for money for his family, how he had found grey, and the greyhound saved his life. He talked about how some formed a kingship, preying on the weak. He explained how he was forced to kill them, to protect the others, and himself. He talks about how they escaped, and how he's been in the military ever since. "And all this was for an experiment."
-
An experiment towards what exactly? Human and animal cooperation and symbiotic relationships?
-
"They wanted to see if the animals would take on the personality of the owner or vise versa, and to see if they could instil a sense of... Well understanding towards the animals. And it worked. I understand grey, and him me. I know what he's thinking, what he says, everything."
-
So, it was a success then?
-
"Unfortunately yes. They made me kill."
-
Hey, you made it out alive. I'll drink to that. He motions a waiter over and asks for another whiskey
-
He asks for another rum, laughing. "So will I."
-
A toast then. To your health. He raises his glass
-
Edited by Lordbakon: 1/7/2016 12:35:49 AM"And to badassery!" He says, and drinks after raising his glass as well
-
Edited by Forum Therapist: 1/7/2016 12:36:35 AMHe downs it all and slams down his glass, coughing and laughing with his eyes watering
-
Hes laughing like hell, and you notice grey lying down on the floor next to him
-
What's up with the big guy? I don't think he wants a drink too.
-
"Grey's always with me. No matter what."
-
How romantic Nobody giggles, clearly intoxicated, and waves the waiter over asking for another drink
-
Jakobs still fine, and he pets grey. "It's a true bond."
-
I don't doubt it. Sounds like you two have been through a lot. I can't say I have anybody like that. He takes a swig of his drink
-
"Hey, I've gone through hell and back to get him. Something I doubt you'd want to do."
-
Well, I have of sorts I suppose. Just didn't make it through with anybody. He downs his drink again, and just contentedly stares at the ceiling, occasionally slowly blinking.
-
"You OK man?" He says laughing, waving his hand over your face
-
Hm? Yeah, just thinking. Whiskey does that to me. I'd say I'd like another, which I do, but I don't think I'd be able to walk out of here.
-
"Probably should get some shuteye anyways."
-
I suppose so. Do I bunk with others, or by myself? He stretches, and scratches the back of his head
