**THE OFFICIAL Petition To Extend IB**
Title says it all. Sign your name below. As PlayStation players, we are being screwed on the last where there is the biggest buff. I fronded to get to rank 4 but now I can't get that rank 5 package. Extend iron banner. It would be fair. Btw, if you're on Xbox, please don't start a console war. Sign your name below.

I heard that you need to orbit to get the IB rewards, is that true? because that will explain why i couldnt get more rewards (1 auto rifle, 1 warlock bond and 1 gauntlets) the other weapons and helmet i bought it with the NPC...

6 RepliesHere's how this played out for me - I'm sure others have similar stories. I'm in the UK. I got to rank 5 early on all characters but why buy all the gear when "in game drops will be your main source of gear in the Iron Banner", right? So I grinded for gear, gradually realising that the drop rate has been nerfed into the ground. Ok, I thought - I'll just buy the two PS helms I don't have on Monday. Get home yesterday and PSN is down - fine, not Bungie's fault. Still down at 11pm so I head off to bed thinking I'll try again in the morning, Bungie have said IB will close at 9am UK time. WHILE I'M ASLEEP I'm supposed to check Bungie's twitter feed and forums for the news that Cosmo has screwed up HIS ONLY FKING JOB - player communication - and that it'll close 1hr before this. So, I get up and the doors are closed. I wasted hours playing this BS event for what amounted to a very small amount of infusion fuel and a couple of pieces of armor (<300 defence too).

7 RepliesJesus f-ing Christ. Those responses...people with serious mental and personality issues flock to this thread 1). Creating a petition for an extention is not whining nor does it mean Bungie owes us. Petitions are requests and used to see how many people agree to lend weight to the request. 2). People who argue "Bungie doesn't owe you" are pretty freaking defensive. Advice: Pull your head out of Bungies asshole. 3). Everybody could have done everything on day one...this is not an argument. The event lasts a week. It doesn't matter when somebody could have done something nor are you aware of their personal circumstances or time limitations. 4). PSN went down cross platform world wide. This is not a regional downtime. Nor was it put on an advanced notice. This was unexpected....and lasted far longer than simple "maintenance". 5). IB stopped an hour earlier than previously communicated. A request to extend the IB event because of this is not all that silly...

Knowing Bungie, this won't happen. They'll take the money over player experience, and I'll bet this would only have been fixed if Iron Banner required silver to enter, like the book.

I have a Destiny acct on both platforms, and got all my rank 5 stuff done on Sunday because it's always SOMETHING for me on IB week that keeps me from getting to rank 5...but PSN bs shouldn't have to be one of them and it's sad that PS4 ppl got screwed over especially when there's all that exclusive stuff to grind for /buy as well!

I play on Xbox1. I hit rank 5 on all 3 characters Friday. I continued to play helping friends get to rank 5. All this being said I don't see a problem with PS players getting an extra day for Iron Banner. My father used to say, "son, it's an automatic no if you don't ask." So if they do give an extra day then that's great. If they don't at least you tried. Sorry about your server issues. That really sucks.
