Armor Fashion Feedback/Requests (w/ pics)
I, the great KAGEHOSHI, warlock scholar, declare myself a lord of fashion.[b] I invite other guardians of stylish nobility to join in me in me in a great discourse on aesthetics[/b]. What do you want your armor to look like in Destiny or it's inevitable sequel? [b]Post your requests, preferably with images.[/b]
I have some feedback on what armors I visually like and dislike on each of the classes in a [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/184532143/0/0]separate comment here[/url]. I will then post concept art and photographs I like which displays a look that I want for my guardians. I'll mostly be talking about warlocks since that's what I mainly like and play as.
[b][WARLOCK][/b]
[b]- Chest Requests[/b]

I really would like to see warlock robes overlapped with flowing cloth togas.

I just want them to stop with this asymmetrical titan armor nonsense. Especially on the Iron Banner sets. Y2 IB titan armor looks [i]so[/i] cool until you get to the legs. Not having a right thigh plate makes it seem like the Iron Lords, I dunno, ran out of iron? Do I look like a hunter to you, Lord Saladin??

4 RepliesYou started by introducing yourself as "The Great" and I stopped reading. But I do propose my warlock get a void purse, my titans get the Sunbreaker high heels(all the craze right now), and my hunter get the invisible seal skin coat.

I kind of epected people to care about their appearance much more in this game, considering how much work goes into the art of armor.

1 Reply[b][FEEDBACK ON CURRENT ARMOR] WARLOCKS[/b] - The voidfang vestments and the Curiass of The Hezen Lords have been my favorites. I like the Curiass for it's complexity. I especially love the piece of cloth on one side that has this really intricate golden pattern. I also always loved [url=http://www.destinypedia.com/images/thumb/6/62/Grimoire_Ikora_Rey.jpg/300px-Grimoire_Ikora_Rey.jpg]Ikora's robe[/url], and other chest armors based on that model. - I like the new The Taken King armors that the Vanguard sell, such as the Samsara. The chest piece is great, and invokes a sort of natural shaman mystic feel. - I like helmets like the Facade of The Hezen Lords, and Obsidian Mind. Those that look sleek and futuristic. - The Ram and The Stag are also great. I generally like skull-based helmets. The Skull of Dire Ahamkara is a cool concept that has been awfully executed. The base helmet is yet another ugly box with a window, but I could forgive that, but the skull part looks nothing like a skull. - Trials of Osiris gear looks like a work of art together. - I hate most warlock helmet models. The Samsara helmets and others of similar models look alright, as do the ones I already mentioned, but most others just look like ugly boxes with some kind of little window. The Deathsinger's set has an interesting helmet, but everything else is pretty ugly. For King's Fall, while I love the Mouth of Ur, I dislike every other piece of the set. I especially hate the chest armor because it looks like an ugly flower made of flesh that somehow has what looks like zippers. - The Prison of Elders set is alright. The chest piece is great, almost on par with the Voidfang Vestments and the Curiass of The Hezen Lords, but the helmet is just one of those ugly boxes with a window. - Warlock bonds are alright for the most part. They should be luminous and eye-catching, but some of them are just really bad, like the Bond of The Wormlore, which slaps a big fat Oryx sticker right on it to obstruct the light, and just make it look weird. The Trials of Osiris bond and the Fragment of The Prime bond from the Vault are shining examples (get it?) of what warlock bonds should be like. - I would have loved the Theosyion Vibrassae if it wasn't for the ugly color, which I can't change because shaders don't work on it. [b]TITANS[/b] Titans aren't the most creatively designed class in visual appearance, but they consistently look good. I don't have many complaints. [b]HUNTERS[/b] I generally don't like hunters, but there are some I really like. - All raid and PoE armor sets look good. - I really like the current Infinite FWC set, especially [url=http://38.media.tumblr.com/8c1a31d1cd8f9564ba0b5023124bf3ab/tumblr_nwdl5cRt1k1ui47k3o1_250.gif]the helmet[/url]. - The new Crucible/Vanguard armors that came with TTK are awful.
