Phantom sits in his Quarters looking at a HoloScreen being emitted from his arm
On it were the profiles of members of every team member that had ever joined, along with their abilities
Heh.
He idly scrolled through it, stopping once and a while out of interest, or just nostalgia
He then came to the files of the original team, all of them sealed with the highest security protocols, even their real names and origins blocked out
Shaking his head, he closed the file, it returning to being stored on his internal database
He then opened a Holo that took the form of a intricate cube, rotating slowly and emitting a red glow
It asked for a access code, one that only few in the Universe held, and it began to unlock, exposing files contained within
A single name left his mouth as he looked through them
The Imperial Codex...

The vault hunter stops by, knocking on the door with a mechanical arm, denting the metal badly Shit, hello?
-
I poke my head through the door "The imperial what now?"
-
Codex. One of the few in existence.
-
"So... What's on it?"
-
The Empire. Every project, weapon, armor, operation, technological marvel is contained in this cube. Only 3 exist in the entire universe.
-
"So... Personal files to?" I shuffle awkwardly "And if so, how much security does it have?"
-
Yes, and the security level is uncrackable. By anyone. Even me. Only those of high rank in the Empire have the necessary clearance to open them.
-
"That's good. Could've posed a problem for me. My age could've gotten out."
-
Pfft. You are really old, you know that? I mean, I'm older, but you... Damn.
-
"I'll take that as a compliment."
-
Eh.... Alright. Your choice.
-
"I'll take it as a comment." My phone rings in my pocket "Yes? Oh, not again. Just kill him and his constituents. It's not difficult."
-
You try to intimidating just for us, don't you? Was that even a Mafia call?
-
"No, that was real. But you won't believe me regardless. You know Phantom, you'd probably enjoy the crime business."
-
I honestly doubt that. Crime isn't really my cup of tea. And I do know what the call was about, since I usually am monitoring subspace waves both incoming and outgoing.
-
"Then you don't really care that I just ordered the death of about one hundred people?"
-
My body count isn't exactly low.
-
I smile and drink "I love this team."
-
Yeah. I did too.

*knocks on the door and walks in* ...Is that something you value greatly?
-
Yeah... Yeah it is. Your looking at one of the last sources on the Empire's technological archives. Mechs, Weapons, Ships.... Everything we ever created.
-
I can see why you value it....I must have it *takes a few steps before lunging forward to grab it*
-
He instinctively closes his hand, and the Codex reassembles and shrinks into his palm Lethal, Lethal, Lethal.... It's been what, 40 years we've known eachother? I know when you get that gleam in your eye.

*sits down on the ground* But I want it
