We've always had to exit the safety of our bubbles to shoot our enemies, or wait for them to try to kill us from inside. But what if we didn't have to, how would that affect the game?
Edit: Suggestions say that there should be an Exotic armor/weapon that has this ability exclusively. Nice.
Also considerable: Switch that with being unseen from outside the bubble. It'd be harder to kill the Defender if you try to rush them.

If they traded their blessing weapon or armor of light for shooting out of their bubble id be down.
-
War frame has it
-
OP sadly.

I do think that being able to shoot out of the bubble would be kinda op. But on the other hand the idea of an exotic that would make it so you can't see into the bubble that would be awesome. Would give the defender an edge when that game of chicken happens or it could the bubble could be used as a distraction who would know anyone was in there or not. I really like this idea and I don't think it would unbalance things.
-
Lol no, and id prefer no one ever talked about defenders. Keep them just like they are. That means they won't get nerfed. Everything under a spotlight gets nerfed in this game. I use defender all the time, especially control. Shooting from a bubble would def make it op and eventually nerfed, to the point I would go back to striker again. #bubblebros (;

I think being able to shoot outside the bubble would be a bit too strong of an ability. I like the idea of an exotic however which prevents anyone from being able to look into the bubble though. Would be cool for PvP, and you could apply it to PvE as well by making any enemies be unable to see anyone who is in the bubble.

Edited by DESMADRIGAL: 1/4/2016 2:20:10 AMMake a helmet called Iron Maiden and have enenemies that walk into the bubbles take damage instead
-
Edited by JhinGah: 1/4/2016 5:46:38 AMIntroduce a new helmet that has a special perk that adds little windows in the bubble for titans to shoot out of. Being able to shoot out of the whole bubble without being able to get hit back would be op
-
Only if you did a fraction of the damage.
-
Step one - select armor of light Step two - equip touch of malice Step three - see how broke that would be
-
If there was a 50% penalty it would probably be ok...
-
Only have defender who made bubble be able to shoot through
-
"Nerf"
-
I think having any ability that makes the bubble offensive, without putting the user in harm, would be too strong. Even weapons of light requires you to come out of the Bubble to utilize it fully.
-
Shooting out of a bubble would be incredibly OP in crucible. Defenders would coordinate bubbles with weapons of light and armor of light and be gods for the duration of the double bubble. Not being able to see inside the bubble would be more fair.
-
Everyone would call for nerfs to defender titans
-
It was the dumbest idea to not be able to shoot. I mean what's the point. Most people don't use it as a shield. We pop it to get our blessings/weapons and then leave. I'm pretty sure that wasn't what Bungie wanted it to be. I would stay in it if I could shoot out. Especially since there are more supers that can shut it down it balances out. It's also not op because the bubble is immobile.
-
Shoot from bubbles, but bullets penetrate the bubble as well...just at reduced damage... Sounds pretty legit, actually
-
If they could shoot from inside their bubble? Would be the most OP thing in destiny
-
Edited by GHOST 9o5: 1/4/2016 4:46:15 AMProbably be OP. Sort of. Maybe.
-
It would go from the occasional "buff defender titans in pvp" post to "DAFENDR IZ OP!!! PLZ NURF!!!"
-
Having weapons of light and being invulnerable to bullets for like 30-40 seconds seems a bit much, but then again you're sitting ducks for supers. The one-way bubble thing is interesting, you wouldn't be able to tell how many, if any, opponents were inside!
-
I'd be ok with it if they make the bubble have a health bar so you could shoot the bubble down faster if they have the ability to shoot you.
-
They would literally be the most op class in the game. The would be more broken than sunbreakers were.

Edited by Artesians: 1/4/2016 4:22:59 AMFrost snow globes. #Warframe Exotic piece that makes the Ward of Dawn semi-permeable, it will still block incoming damage, but will absorb a lower set amount of damage (regular guns and what not count), but bullets can travel through them from the inside.
