Exotic Shard famine!!
I think Xür should sell exotic shards again as I've been running quite low recently.
If we can get this trending maybe Bungie will see it and get it changed!

You will have many players with lots but you have to remember not every player has lots. For the mean time I would recommend 3oC and buying off the blueprint.
