Is there anything the developers can do regarding players with horrible connections in pvp? Sorry but destiny is by far one of the worst for this. When players with great connections suffer to those who don't. All the updates yet no fix for a major issue.

I'm from the Maldives and i get match-made with people from USA,Germany,France and Netherlands. They should stop putting people out side of their region and yes i'm red bar(No surprise there). I get green bar when i play with UAE and KSA people. People send me messages saying i'm a lag switcher and report threats. Like i can fix Bungies matchmaking sheesh......
-
Less people playing this game....match making has to work hard to find players....red bars are more common. I have a 125mb/sec connection.....haven't had one lag free game all week.
-
It's not players connection. Have red bar and green bar with a 6mbs connection as well as on 25mbs. They need to fix there game.
-
what people just simply refuse to understand is that lag is the combination of at least TWO connections.. .. and in a PvP match we have 12!. i have a green connection everytime, but i can absolutely ensure a deep red connection if i raid with a person from turkey or bagladesh.. or australia.. not hard to imagine what happens if less and less players play.. longer distances between the peers, more lag..

Bungie. Because rubberbanding is fun.

They need to prioritise connection when doi.g matchmaking.
-
This ib lag has nearly broken me...

Bad internet

If they didn't fix it at launch, what makes you think they will fix it now? They will never get dedicated servers because two to three dollars a month is too expensive to run those servers.
-
It's a server issue and it's not just pvp. Teleporting enemies. Rubberbanding health bars. Bumgie is too -blam!-ing cheap to fix it.
-
I'm not feeling lag right now
-
I would say many people have left because of the lag, im finding it hard to play pvp right now
-
They probably could but at this point a year and some into destiny they have clearly shown they do not care..... And dont give me the excuse that they are working on new content/destiny 2 Fixing lag/connection issues is far more important to a large enough component of their player base than some yet to be hinted at DLC Their inaction is implicitly telling you they are okay with the current state of the crucible
-
They "could" do something... But why would they?

Dedicated servers and not rely on p2p.
