Yes I'm crying. Yes I'm complaining. No this isn't b8. And yeah I just happen to be a hunter. However I am also looking for an answer to a question. How do I kill a stormcaller with no super?
"Shoot him, huntard!": Well I tried that. He shocked me and killed me.
"No, dumbass. You gotta shoot him in the head with a sniper": Hmm. Tried that too. He teleported through it and killed me again.
"Are you retarded? You got to shoot him while he activates it." Good idea! Oh wait. Unlike any other super he attacks everyone near him with landfall which has a hidden perk of blinding nearby foes.
"Get those huntard loving teammates of yours to shoot him together." Well that didn't work either cause one guy got hit and it chained to everyone and killed us. Then he did it again since he still had time.
"Just run away, stupid." Well I tried to but he is faster than me and the super lasts for about 20 seconds.
So did I leave any viable options out? And since its temporary, heavy doesn't count. That lightning sound it sending me away like sunbreaker did

Edited by uraniumboss235: 1/3/2016 10:39:10 PMTether the ground in front of them Use quiver Use golden gun Use bladedancer Stick them with a grenade and bodyshot them with a sniper Use a shotgun Use tlw Go invis Blink Use heavy Make them chase you off the map

If the warlock hits his super at a distance... a few bullets will kill him while you walk backwards. If he hits his super right before you slide to him with a shotgun... its 50/50 you may get him, but he will probably get you too. Does it last too long? Maybe. How long does a void anchor last? Bad comparison? How about how much health does it remove from an Ultra-boss vs other supers? I say this only to draw attention to the Huge, Glaring disparity between arcblade/goldengun damage in PvE that needs to be buffed. The thing about Stormcallers is their perks have alot of synergy. Melee recharges grenades, grenades recharge melee, using super with full melee/nades heals you & drains trance slower... stuff like that makes it a solid class. They are just fine. If they need balancing at all, it is very minor.

Lets talk about you being bad at the game. *refer to op post* Glad we had this talk.
-
I hate the sounds they make... Nerf it please.
-
I throw a fusion or tripmine on him
-
It's fine. What else do we need to talk about?
-
Best way to is try to keep mid distance or further from them while their attacking if their keeping on coming keep backing off til their energy depletes then finish them off. Hunters shadowshot works well against other super activations, seen it first hand. Another good way is to use the sealed ahamkara grasps with the skill vanish in smoke. This will buy you time to get away and regroup. Bladedancers have the skill stalker while crouching to turn invisible. Sadly hunters dont get a small overshield from melee. But just have to work around that.

If you're in his sights, double snipe to the head, team shot, or grenade and bullet mix and hope he doesn't close the gap.
-
So where is your complaint about stormcallers pre sunbreaker nerf?
-
Get rect scrub seems to be king of the scrubs, reck yourself
-
Stormcaller is perfectly fine. People only complain because they're silly enough to all clump up in a nice group. Destiny isn't a PvP game. Yes it has multiplayer but Destiny in the grand scheme of things is a PvE game. The stupid thing is when the people complain they have PvP and only PvP in mind so when a nerf happens PvE suffers. TBH PvP players are really selfish and inconsiderate.

A viable option would be to quit crying, and play the game. You are not entitled. No more than anyone else. Muted.
-
Nerfing storm caller would ruin the tether/storm trance combo in PvE. Leave it alone. Signed - non-whiney Hunter
-
It only last 20 secs when you SPEC for it. So chill out u huntard
-
Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Nerf Herders on Bungie.net. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Get Rect Scrub. From what I can gather, he commands the Scrub Dancers from an Imperial PC just inside of his mother's basement. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, kick this loser in the nuts and break their grip on Nerfing Destiny more.

It's not even the deadliest Super in the game.
-
You got 3 suppression arrows that can potentially one-shot half of the people it hits. Learn to use them.
-
6-8 Tlw + hi-5= dead stormfingers. Usually trade deaths, but who cares: he dead
-
That's why I usually run an auto shotty or HRF fusion. The super killers :) the only super "hard" to shut down still is our own bladedancer. So please stop complaining. We have a great super, possibly more agile and more difficult to shut down than storm trance.
-
I've had more luck taking down a Stormcaller rather than a blade dancer
-
Jump Fall Invective ??? Profit
-
You have a valid point based on how Bungie has nerfed everything else. I personally would like OP elements in every subclass that have to be countered. This game is getting very bland with the lack of diversity and the grind is harder and harder to justify.
-
Shut the fùck up kid it's people like you who get the community to get things changed and why no one plays this game anymore
-
There are different situations: Landfall, if there's just a warlock randomly running at you while not shooting, fall back, don't challenge. If he's blinking, then try to time your shots. Honestly it's a pretty hard super to kill, don't get me wrong. But I've gotten good at sniping bladedancers while they're spamming, so I can snipe any super easily.

Yes how about making the warlock weak as shit like you did the titan?
