Lets talk about Stormtrance
Yes I'm crying. Yes I'm complaining. No this isn't b8. And yeah I just happen to be a hunter. However I am also looking for an answer to a question. How do I kill a stormcaller with no super?
"Shoot him, huntard!": Well I tried that. He shocked me and killed me.
"No, dumbass. You gotta shoot him in the head with a sniper": Hmm. Tried that too. He teleported through it and killed me again.
"Are you retarded? You got to shoot him while he activates it." Good idea! Oh wait. Unlike any other super he attacks everyone near him with landfall which has a hidden perk of blinding nearby foes.
"Get those huntard loving teammates of yours to shoot him together." Well that didn't work either cause one guy got hit and it chained to everyone and killed us. Then he did it again since he still had time.
"Just run away, stupid." Well I tried to but he is faster than me and the super lasts for about 20 seconds.
So did I leave any viable options out? And since its temporary, heavy doesn't count. That lightning sound it sending me away like sunbreaker did

Sounds like youve already figured out the viable options. Just need to execute them. If you're looking for an easy way to kill someone when theyre in their super and your are not, then i dont know what to tell you....other than execute.

they have like a 5% damage buff. it should be the easiest super to kill. STFU

Not sure why you can't kill them...killed several of them tonight on IB and have been killed my fair share while using it...it seems to me that this is not a balance problem, but a skill (or lack thereof) problem!

The class gets no armor and no regeneration on kills unlike ur bladedancers and sunbreakers, they've also got horrible grenades, classes are balanced quit crying, a supercharged guardian should be tough to kill if you arn't supercharged.

The perk landfall doesnt blind only the imposible machines exotic blinds people

1 Reply1. You can outrun it. The travel speed of stormtrance is slower than a sprint, especially if you are a Hunter with average or higher agility. 2. If you are getting rushed head on either walk backwards while nailing head shots (don't bother weaving left and right it will only shorten the distance between you two and will make it harder to aim for you) or if he is too close jump directly over him ( as this will cause him to stop firing lighting death while he locks onto you again, potentially giving you time to shotgun/melee) 3. If you have a tripmine or fusion grenade stick him, he will likely kill you, but will be killed shortly after. 4. Bait him into cover. If you disrupt the sight lines (e.g. Put a pillar or wall between you two) the Jedi unlimited power will stop firing. If your recovery is high enough, this will give you time to regen some health until the super is over. 5. Take one for the team. Stormtrance is excellent at slaughtering entire teams, the longer he takes to kill you, the less time he has to rain magnificent dark side force lightening onto your friends. If you can waste 12 or so of those seconds, even if he kills you the rest of your team will be thankful. From: A Stormcaller main

They r very easy to kill. Shoot them. U can hear them coming start shooting b4 they get to close. Pretty much the easiest super to stop.

They are the EASIEST super to snipe in the head. The only ones that don't get sniped know how to use the thing properly.

2 RepliesSometimes, you gotta run when you don't think you can win against a super (it's best to let them waste it trying to catch you). If a warlock sneaks up on you at close range, use a fast firing shotgun before it's to late. If you spot the warlock far away charging you without ionic blink, then snipe his candy ass.
