Damien enters the bar. Without even bothering to ask permission, he walks behind the counter and quickly pulls down as much alcohol as his arms can carry. He drops onto the ground with a thud and quickly gets to work downing some western stylized drink. When he's chugged the bottle he tilts his head at Lance.
"Take any you desire."

Lance chuckles and picks up a bottle of vodka, sifting through a fridge before finding a bottle of orange juice and mixing the two into a glass, downing half of it. "Wherve you been Damien?"
-
"A different reality..." His tone is flat as if such a phrase is normal. "I died, so I had to walk back..."
-
"Yeah...I know a thing or two about different realities and dimensions."

But you still seem human." Damien tosses some bottles to the side, much the dismay of the already infuriated barkeeper. He chooses a large flask of aged Bourbon and quickly downs it. He seems to drink through a small opening in the mask that hangs loose. Damien seems to have an affinity for alcohol. "Is your layered reality among the stars, or are you just a man with the ability to transverse time itself?"
-
"What would be the fun in telling you?" Lance says with a grin, drinking from his glass.
-
"I guess that's fair." It was. Both parties keeping their abilities a secret. Damien wasn't keen on sharing details about his existence. "So... Anumi has found grand favor with you. How are you handling such?"
-
"I haven't decided yet." Lance says, that broken look behind his eyes, there and gone in an instant.
-
"Well, a woman's heart is easily tangled in emotion. I have put a great deal of trust in you for not leading her astray." Lance has noticed something interesting about Damien's speech. His language turns from formal to poetic when he talks about Anumi or Lucien.
-
"She's only a friend Damien. I don't have any feelings for her." Lance says this, and Damien can tell that he means it.
-
"Good. She does not need paramount distractions." Damien pushes back his long hair once more. It looks tangled and shaggy, but it flows with ease and falls in dirty blonde locks. "Though, friends always attest better than a lover."
-
"Yeah...I know that." Lance runs a hand through his hair, pushing it back, yet the same lock of hair falls back in his face.

Edited by Will: 1/1/2016 1:26:00 AMLance holds the underside of his forearm out, toned and there are a few scars, but nothing special. Lance passes his free hand over it, and three tattooed names appear on the skin, in black swirling script, one above the other going down his arm. Chris Jennifer Rachael He rests his finger on the name Rachael. "My wife. She died 15 years ago." This doesn't make a lot of sense, considering Lance looks to be only 20-23 years old. This would mean he was married before he was even a teenager.
-
"My apologetic tones got out in sympathetic denominations. It's not easy losing those we love..." Damien sits, legs apart and head thrown aside. The strange posture looks like an animal sitting patiently for a meal. "And you have two young blooded familiars?"
-
"Yes, but those aren't the names on my arm." He passes his arm over his flesh and the tattoos dissapear again. "Those are my parents."
-
"I believe that when someone dies... They return reincarnated. Stronger than they were before."
-
Lance sourly chuckles. "Well if you ever see my parents or wife, tell them I'm still alive."
-
"I'll try..." Damien stretches and falls back not the floor. "I believe I have grown tired... Slumber douses my thoughts like a hypothesis of grand expedition."
-
Lance chuckles, standing up. "I'll catch you later Damien."
-
"Goodbye, Ronin. Godspeed."
-
Lance walks a few steps then vanishes from the bar, much to the bewildered looks of bystanders.

Damien seemingly expected it. He chuckles before falling asleep on the bar floor. The barkeep seems upset but doesn't dare wake him.
End
