1. The Beginning-Obadiah-Warlock
"I knew this was a bad idea" thought Obadiah as he took cover behind a fallen pike.
His ghost just loved getting him in the toughest spots. All for the sake of scanning objects that really seemed to have no meaning.
"Where is he now", he thought as he inched his head out of cover to look for a opening.
He heard the crackling of a wire rifle and hid back behind cover. These Fallen were not happy. Especially now since he killed their Captain.
Great...now he had to either figure out a escape plan or wipe out the small squadron of Fallen inching their way closer. He didn't even mean to kill the Captain. He was so bored he was practicing he's sniping when he hit a energy barrel and blew the unsuspecting captain up.
He shouldn't even be here he realized, one Crota was lurking around somewhere down there in the moon and second Commander Zavala clearly stated he should only go as far as the Skywatch and yet somehow his ghost convinced Obadiah to head for the moon and explore Anchor of Light.
He wished his friends were here to help or at least that guardian that seemed to complete every mission successfully since day one. Found in the cosmodrome and killed a Archon that same week. He was also fairly new, his ghost had only found him 3 months ago. He had basic training with Ikora Rey, which was apparently the best person to be trained by, according to his fellow warlocks.
"Hey lets go, nothing interesting this time, maybe next week", said Finn his ghost.
"Next week?!", exclaimed Obadiah, "you don't see all these Fallen trying to make me a throw rug?! Where the hell where you Finn?!"
"Oh ,theres only 5, you can do this, I have complete faith in you"
Obadiah sighed, he tried to remember his training and he tightened his grasp on his auto rifle. He looked at his ghost and he gave him a confident nod. He sprinted out of cover and aimed for head shots.
One-the dreg grabbed for his missing head as ether splurged out.
Two-another dreg flinched just in time to miss the spray of terrestrial bullets.
He felt invincible, this is how Ikora must have felt in the crucible.
Three-right in the chest of the over confident dreg
A smile crept up on Obadiah's face. Maybe he could actually pull this off, maybe...... but before he could finish his thought he realized he wasn't focused anymore. He stepped into some enemy trip mines, he felt the arc bolts from a fallen shock pistol rip through his armor.
Pain and panic filled him as he saw the bright red flash engulf his visor then...nothing.
"Oh boy....stay still, just a couple more muscles to recreate.....there. Well that was exciting, I don't think I've seen you run that fast before, training is paying off", chirped Finn.
Obadiah opened his eyes, he felt the ache you feel after being put back together. Dying wasn't fun, especially when you lost limbs. They felt like he slept on them for way too long.
"What happened, did I get them all?", asked Obadiah, half hoping he had a brave tale to relate about at the lounge.
"No, you clearly got blasted into oblivion and if I wasn't running a patrol you and your ghost would've been used as scrap by the Fallen", asserted the guardian.
"Well to be fair, he did kill a captain and two dregs with only a couple months of training", interjected Finn.
"You only have a couple months training? Zavala is not going to be happy, you will be assigned to cleaning up the crucible arenas when he finds out you're on the moon", jeered the guardian, "ghost send a message to Zavala, we have a package for him".
"Sure thing Tervok....ummm, problem", moaned the ghost, "seems like they're multiple guardians in the area asking for backup and reporting a large amount of hive leaving Crota's temple on a local channel".
"Strange, why don't they send it to the vanguard channel instead. Open up their frequency", commanded Tervok.
Obadiah looked at Finn and started crawling slowly into a crater. Hoping Tervok forgot all about him. Cleaning up arenas was not a pleasant time. He knew from experience.
"Help! Hive everywhere, Fallen have retreated, two guardians and their ghosts have been dragged into Crota's Temple. We need back up but comms to the tower are down along with transmat zone".
"Guardian this is Trevok, what's your location, me and a warlock are patrolling and are available for back up", reassured Trevok.
Before Obadiah could even process the thought of going head on against hundreds of Hive he found himself going full speed on his sparrow towards the distress call with the Titan called Trevok.
"Well at least we aren't going to be cleaning arenas during Iron Banner week", chimed in Finn

This is very nice! I like your characters and their personalities and the story is good! My only critique is its a little hard to follow in small sections so the flow breaks a little (just be mindful to put transition sentences in so it's not like things happen suddenly such as Finn appearing) But other than that I can't wait to see where this goes
