I have thought about saying something about this for a long time now, but haven't really felt the need until now. I get that the game needs tweeking and fixing to make it better, but lately I feel like the designers has lost sight of what this game is actually about, or was about. They buff and nerf on and of every patch and update. Yes, this is a must to keep the game and the gamers happy, but some of this buffs and nerfs are really far out there. What I am actually talking about is the latest nerf of the titans sunbreaker. I mean, as in any other game there are different classes for different types of styles to play (tank, DPS and healer). When I started playing destiny I obviously chose the one class I thought was suppose to be the "Tank" in destiny, since that is the play style I prefer. And a tank is suppose to withstand more damage then the other classes, this is how the class differences has worked since the beginning of gaming. After the Nerf of the sunbreaker, this class has become sh*t. All the other classes can now withstand more damage wile in their supers then the sunreaker can. This basically renders the sunbreaker useless, and thus forcing the titans to go back to Striker or Defender, something that makes me personally feel like the game is going backwards rather then forward. A sunbreaker will now die from the same amount of damage as he would without the super active. I have three different characters, one from each class, but the titan has been my favorite since day one and will probably always be the favorite. So I must say that it really makes me sad that a game that can makes me this happy, at the same time can make me this angry and disappointed. Wile on the subject, I really want to point out, like many have before me, that the shotguns are not nerfed as was promised. Well they are, but the nerfing did not do anything about the crazy range almost every shotgun has. It is, to put it nicely, utterly stupid. All this makes a big difference in the newly dropped Iron banner. And this is why I am bringing it up. I did want to say something about the drop rate in the raid as well but I really do not see the point, other then to say that it is messed up to... I love this game, and will probably never stop playing. But this had to be said.
