All this great lore, and it isn't efficiently conveyed in the game. It would make for a much more compelling story if we knew more. I know it's a 10-year plan, but come on. If you have to go to a third-party site to catch up on the brief story that didn't convey much, it's not helping the players understand the plot.
A majority of the players probably don't even have the app or go on the forums, so they have no way of knowing what has actually happened or what's going on in Destiny. They most likely don't read the Grimoire cards either. All they is is the Darkness is bad, go fight it. They don't know why, how, when or anything else for that matter.

I can't help you there.

I know. I'm just saying that there's potential for a great story, but Bungie just chose to stash it away in the Grimoire cards. So the community has to make their own theories in order to make sense of what little story is in game.

Some of it is meant to be secret but it does suck that we have to go through the cards for story. they had something far better but then activision thought it would be too difficult for the younger audiences to understand so they scrapped it. Poor timing but that's how the business world works I guess.

I know. Which makes the campaign and missions lack depth. We need more story. I dont need to read the cards, they should make it possible to see in the campaign.

The only lore he mentions is from the game.... the rest is just ridiculous
