Damien takes it from his finger and looks at it. He opens up the locket and pulls a small photo from a pocket in his pants. He inserts the photo and stuffs the locket in the same pocket, the sound of clanging metal shuffles from its descent into a pool of even more lockets.
"My gratitude... I haven't seen one quite so unique..."
English
-
"It's Chaos metal." Lance smiles. "You won't find that anywhere else in the universe, except for one place."
-
"Deus ex Machina... Or perhaps Deja Vu... I assume only you can get to it?" Damien's unblinking stare carefully soaks in everything it meets. "Do you like bagels...?"
-
"Something like that." Lance's eyebrows raise. "Bagels? Yeah, why?"
-
"I like them too." Damien stretches his long slender arm. He looks around at the mess he's made. "I will eventually fix this entropy..."
-
Lance chuckles at the absurdity of the statement. "What exactly are you looking for?"
-
"Identity information... Clues per-say." Damien throws open another draw, tossing aside medical equipment and clips of ammo. He finally rests a hand on what appears to be a flute. He quickly pockets it and looks around the shelves hanging over the bed. "It appears my brother saw this coming more than I did... He was always a prodigy of thought... Though he fights of low caliber..."
-
"Hmm." Lance stands by as Damien searches the room.
-
"He doesn't leave much to the imagination. Well, I thirst... I'll return to this after a drink. Bourbon sounds blissful..." He picks up his coat and puts it back on. It hangs loose, as if it was meant for someone with much more body mass. He stuffs his hands in his pockets and turns to Lance. "So, Ronin... Ever wash away your sins in drunkenness?"
-
"Nothing can wash away my sins Damien, but I've definitely tried."
-
"That's why I don't sin..." Its unclear if that was a joke. Damien turns to the hall and walks down towards the bar. He passes Anumi without saying a word, but she seems very happy that he stalks the halls of the ship.
-
Lance follows silently, his hands in his jean pockets.
-
Damien enters the bar. Without even bothering to ask permission, he walks behind the counter and quickly pulls down as much alcohol as his arms can carry. He drops onto the ground with a thud and quickly gets to work downing some western stylized drink. When he's chugged the bottle he tilts his head at Lance. "Take any you desire."
-
Lance chuckles and picks up a bottle of vodka, sifting through a fridge before finding a bottle of orange juice and mixing the two into a glass, downing half of it. "Wherve you been Damien?"
-
"A different reality..." His tone is flat as if such a phrase is normal. "I died, so I had to walk back..."
-
"Yeah...I know a thing or two about different realities and dimensions."
-
Edited by Chesh I Guess: 1/1/2016 12:20:33 AM"You must not be from the same Realm of thought then... I am from my own being. But you still seem human." Damien tosses some bottles to the side, much the dismay of the already infuriated barkeeper. He chooses a large flask of aged Bourbon and quickly downs it. He seems to drink through a small opening in the mask that hangs loose. Damien seems to have an affinity for alcohol. "Is your layered reality among the stars, or are you just a man with the ability to transverse time itself?"
-
"What would be the fun in telling you?" Lance says with a grin, drinking from his glass.
-
"I guess that's fair." It was. Both parties keeping their abilities a secret. Damien wasn't keen on sharing details about his existence. "So... Anumi has found grand favor with you. How are you handling such?"
-
"I haven't decided yet." Lance says, that broken look behind his eyes, there and gone in an instant.
-
"Well, a woman's heart is easily tangled in emotion. I have put a great deal of trust in you for not leading her astray." Lance has noticed something interesting about Damien's speech. His language turns from formal to poetic when he talks about Anumi or Lucien.
-
"She's only a friend Damien. I don't have any feelings for her." Lance says this, and Damien can tell that he means it.
-
"Good. She does not need paramount distractions." Damien pushes back his long hair once more. It looks tangled and shaggy, but it flows with ease and falls in dirty blonde locks. "Though, friends always attest better than a lover."
-
"Yeah...I know that." Lance runs a hand through his hair, pushing it back, yet the same lock of hair falls back in his face.

Edited by Chesh I Guess: 1/1/2016 1:12:23 AM"Have you found love before? There is no shame in such... In fact it offers many benefits." Damien reaches through the bottles once more and picks out a decorated bottle of Pinot. He looks it over before throwing it aside.

Edited by Will: 1/1/2016 1:26:00 AMLance holds the underside of his forearm out, toned and there are a few scars, but nothing special. Lance passes his free hand over it, and three tattooed names appear on the skin, in black swirling script, one above the other going down his arm. Chris Jennifer Rachael He rests his finger on the name Rachael. "My wife. She died 15 years ago." This doesn't make a lot of sense, considering Lance looks to be only 20-23 years old. This would mean he was married before he was even a teenager.
