The real reason Destiny's story was scrapped: 'The Nine' planets were an integral part of the story and Pluto is no longer considered a planet.
Damnit, science!

I think Pluto was reclassified as a planet as it has moons orbiting it...wouldn't that make it a planet??

Edited by Cayde Seven: 12/31/2015 4:18:28 PMYou forgot to add what triggered the change in classification- another similar "dwarf planet" in the same region. Can you guess the name? Here's the punchline-
Eris.
Edited by Spoopy XP: 12/31/2015 4:12:02 PMIts a TNO or Trans Neptunian Object

No! Pluto is considered a dwarf planet - Peter Dinklage is a dwarf! Peter is a planet! He is one of the nine!
-
Again? I just heard a few months back that pluto was considered a planet again?

Its considered a planetoid. Stupid science.

Well if we consider Pluto as a full planet then we'll have to add a couple dozen more to the chart. Kuiper belt, really messy place. the nine would become theeeee.........20? Not certain on that.

Don't forget all the ones in the asteroid belt

More than a couple dozen. There's probably hundreds of Pluto-sized objects out there.
