[i] He sheathes the sword, knowing his blade healed her of all physical damage. Mental though...that wasn't one of its capabilities. He places a hand on the side of her face.[/i] "Anumi, say something."

[b]Her mentality is shot... She doesn't seem to hear the question. She simply sits on the bed, gazing at Lance through a long drawn out blink.[/b]

[b]She shudders in anticipation. Something, told her this is what she needed to do.[/b]

[i] He grabs her hand and teleports to the Avalon.[/i]

[b]Immediately a large group of medical spot them and rush over. The one in lead looks like a doctor of some kind.[/b] [i]"Thank god! We've searched every where for her!"[/i] [b]They all move in a strange fashion, as if fake. The doctor however, seems normal...[/b]

[i] Lance glances them over, his gaze settling on the Doctor.[/i] "What are you?" [i] He says, still holding Anumi's hand.[/i]

[b]The doctor raises an eyebrow.[/b] [i]"Chief of medical staff... Sawyer has instructed me to take care of her... What are [b]you[/b]?"[/i] [b]The question seems to layered with a deep meaning, as if someone wanted to know what Lance truly was.[/b] [i]"I'll take her to the med bay to rest and prep her for a evaluation." [/i]

And it seems she favors you for a reason..."[/i] [b]The doctor steadies her with and arm. At this point, she doesn't care what touches her.[/b]

[b]The doctor leads her to one of the many rooms in the bay and lays her on a bed. He never did ask how Lance got there... But who was he to know?[/b] [spoiler]End[/spoiler]
