"Anumi." He moves in front of her, kneeling in down in front of her. He wears his trademark black t-shirt and black jeans, and the same lock of hair falls in his face.

"Mmph." She shakes her head, trying to relieve the sudden panic induced pressure. Her chest feels tight and her hands prickle. She hasn't ever felt so scared.
-
Lance looks side to side in the corridor, before grabbing her hand gently. She feels a pulling sensation, like being in a car at 60 mph, and suddenly they're in an expensive looking bedroom, furnished with a black wooden dresser, a large king sized bed with black silk sheets, and a black wooden desk, along with a walk in closet and bathroom, plus a door that leads off to somewhere else.
-
She tries to get her bearings. Though, at this point it feels like reality is unraveling. She tries to blink the madness away. Sweat begins to pour down her skin. But something happens in the back of her mind. She doesn't truly hear it... But the patterned beat of stomping, stepping, the maddening beat of marching. It's all she can seem to hear.
-
He steps in front of her, grabbing her wrists and gazing into her eyes, his icy blue irises piercing through her. "Anumi." He gives her a slight shake as he says her name.
-
Her state seems to signify that she is present, but it's blank and lifeless. It's the same cold stare Lucien had seemed to adopt earlier as his own. Her words come out more clearly. "Where are we...?" They are quiet. Almost silent.
-
"My ship." He says, his hands still on her wrists. "Anumi, what's wrong?"
-
She gives him an understanding look. It's bizarre... Unsettling even. "I don't think Lucien is coming back..." She gives a bleak smile. It almost as if she's trying to find joy in her own butchered words.
-
"What do you mean Anumi?"
-
"Just a feeling..." Anumi winces with the strange smile still plastered on her face. It soon disappears and almost falls to the flower. She catches herself but remains in the floor.
-
He picks her up, one arm under her back and the other under her legs, bridal style walking over to the king sized bed in the corner of the room and laying her down, the silk sheets and pillows extremely comfortable. "You need some rest Anumi. And the last place you need to be is on the Avalon."
-
She stares at the ceiling without blinking. "Thank you." She lays there, motionless and silent.
-
He vanished from the room and reappears with a glass of water. "Here, drink this. It'll help you rest. I know what a wandering mind can do to you." He says calmly and warmly.
-
She grabs hold of it, but she doesn't seem to know what to do next. She stares at it with interest but acts as if she's forgotten how to drink.
-
He places a hand on the back of her neck and tips the glass gently towards her lips, attempting to assist her.
-
It hits her lips but she doesn't open her mouth. A small trickle of red begins to drip from her nose. The first clear sign of brain damage.
-
really not making this easy on me are you?
He takes the glass away and puts it on the desk, tilting her head up and looking into her eyes, wiping the blood away with the hem of his shirt.
-
Well... Guess not. XD
She gives him a weak smile. Her skin has begun to pale out. She moves her hand forward and grabs his arm. "You... Are a good... Friend..." The words are strained and creaky.
-
"Anumi, stop talking like that. Like you're going to die."
-
"I feel... Fine." Her face almost seems to sink in as she talks. Whether it's from pain or not is unclear. It is clear, however, that something has caused massive damage, and in a short time too.
-
"Anumi, you've got to tell me what happened and what did this to you."
-
"Caldon." The name is only thing she has said with emotion. Though, she says it with spite and anger.
-
"Who is Caldon, Anumi?"
-
She returns to her silent, dead-eyed stare. Her nose begins to drip crimson at a constant rate.
-
werent you wondering what these swords do?
In a flash, Lance unsheathes his all black katana, and strangely, the midnight blade seems to drip darkness and shadows. Like simple blackness in a liquid form oozes off the metal. He presses the flat of the blade to her forehead, closing his eyes. The shadows drop off the blade, but seem to take on an essence of their own. Crawling over Anumi's skin, over her face and up through her nose, eventually covering her whole body. Her body feels ice cold, then steaming hot, alternating for nearly 30 seconds.
-
Anumi doesn't even seem to notice, but it certainly has stopped the flow of blood.
