Why you hate the MIDA
When you run across the map with no cover ANY scout rifle and most ranged pulse rifles will mow you down. The Time To Kill is actually long compared to The Last Word and some others. So the problem is not the gun being OP the problem is the players. The reason you see it more? Xur sold it and most year 1 players had it so got their y2 when it dropped. Speed and agility in PvP is crucial MIDA helps that. So quit complaining it's not the gun...change your style. Use cover, learn the maps, it will get better I promise.

1 ReplyI'm absolutely astonished that people claim it's op. I remember long ago when people were complaining that it was underpowered and didn't even deserve to be an exotic. The thing is, it hasn't changed since then. A few streamers and you tubers hyped up its return, and their lemmings spread the word. I mean, if they like it, it must be great, right? You can cut the ignorance in these forums with a knife..

It's not that it is OP.....kind of. It's the screwed up way that Bungie 'balances' weapons that make certain guns after each patch 'OP'.....which then leads to them being nerfed....and a new gun rises to the top....and the cycle continues. Meanwhile....the vast majority of weapons are rendered useless in both PvP and PvE. It's 'Forced Diversification". Bungie creates the meta (I have come to hate that F'ing word)....we are forced to play it and bitch on the forums about it.

Other scouts can work just as well! My DIS 43 has been pretty decent and it's more low impact high fire. So that's even the lighter side of scouts! People just don't like that their close range+long range sniper has one area that another gun can compete at. Ridiculous that's it's so easy to snipe 4 feet away. They should be too heavy to aim that fast. It's a sniper! Along with crazy rate of fire. Just shouldn't be able to pop off all 4 rounds so quickly and accurately. So yeah, people use mida cause they hear that it helps combat the ridiculous snipers.
