A Deeper Meaning...
"Wherever I walk, blood and bodies follow in my wake. Wherever I speak, my lungs burn people at the stake. They're drawn to me, like moths to a flame. It makes me crazy, it drives me insane."

This behavior draws more attention towards them, even though the crowded feeling drives them mad. There's no context to go off, so this is just one interpretation. A shot in the dark is better than nothing, I suppose.
