"You know, I wouldn't have suspected you to be such an ass when I first saw you Eric." Eric knew it was a dream; there was a quality about it that couldn't possibly have taken place in real life, yet he could never place what was wrong with it. This tall man had often appeared to him in this state, when he was not quite awake and not quite dreaming... This strange, tall man. Eric had never gotten a good look at him, but from what he could tell he was taller than any human he had ever seen, and had a muscle structure that would make an Olympian jealous, yet in these trances he could never make out his face... Until now. "You must've seen me as an infant, then. Not much has changed, that you should know." "You have too much of your father in you, too little of your mother. It's a shame, really. Your mother was always the better half." Eric thought about his "parents", those two strict, boring humans on dull Caridia. The tall man had told him before that they were not his real parents, and he was obliged to agree. "You know, you never told me your name. It's hard to keep a conversation up with some douchebag without a name." The tall man chuckled, and then turned around so that Eric faced his back. What had once been his clothes had sharpened on quality, until it became a suit of armor, but like no kind of armor Eric had ever seen. The lifelike quality of it was so unlike everything else in the dream that his subconscious mind believed it to be real. "Matthew Radegast Hallwinter. Think hard, and you'll remember me, won't you? Or did those damn Coopers never tell you?" Cooper was his parents surname, whereas he had been known as Eric Stratos since birth. "No, I've need heard of you. Should I have?" Suddenly, the man completely came into focus, in all his regal might. His armor shone a dull gold, perhaps bronze, and the layer of suit beneath it almost absorbed the light, it was so black. His skin became a coppery, tanned brine, and his hair became a stark black, yet most startling of all was the elflike ears picking out of that short black hair. As the man turned around, Eric found himself staring into the vibrant purple eyes of a man no older than himself. "Come find me, when you figure it out. You'll know where to look. (Closed)
