Nah man. Pvp was full with overpowered shit and pulse rifles sucked but that made it fun to me. Fusions were and still easy to dodge, hand cannons good. Scout rifles horrible indeed. But most important was perks weren't trash. These trade back and deal more damage to wizards perks suck ass. Flared magwell does nothing. So combine the buffs. Nerfed things aren't fun I can tell you that.
