Many people have expressed their displeasure with the changes to fusions but I'll put my own flavor to it.
So IMHO (as well as my son's and Daughter's who play) fusions were 'almost' perfect before. Our reasoning is this:
We considered Fusions the weapon of choice for the quick kills that are just beyond Shotgun effective range.
They took a degree of skill and timing that I feel even surpasses sniping. You needed to know your charge rates, dispersal, and effective range. Frankly the only people that you saw using fusions were people who were exceptional with then and they Rekt with them. It was respectable though. You didn't have a lot of people running around with them (al la Shotguns) so I feel that in and of itself balanced the use of the weapon.
The change to the stability has made them a much less friendly weapon to use so now even less people will use them and even the ones that do will be less effective.
Please reconsider the change.

After so many games with them, it's obvious why people don't use them. Sometimes they just don't work. Every bolt appears to connect, the enemy will even flinch like they got hit, yet they won't even lose their shield. Then they'll easily decimate you with last word. Why go to the effort to pre charge a gun, choose the ideal distance, control the crazy recoil, and then HOPE the fusion gods have you in their favor when you can simply pick up a last word and kill from the same distance without even aiming down a sight and while firing full auto. I love fusion rifles. But even while doing well with them, they cause me so many unnecessary deaths due to random fusion failures. Every gun has these random anomalies. Bullets miss for no reason etc. But it's painfully obvious and the consequences more severe when you're using a gun where you have to charge it between shots.
