[i]Light sits herself at the far end of the bar, facing the door with her back to the wall, old habits, she drains her 5 th drink of the evening and her eyes narrow as she realises she's still to God damn sober.[/i]
[i] The barkeep pours her another without her asking.[/i]
[b]one of these days you will talk about it you know [/b][i]he smiles , as he cleans the glasses.[/i]
L " Paddy , you will never get me that drunk."
[b] ha! I'd settle for a bit drunk , your makin my liquor look bad.[/b]
L " Well I didn't want to say anything but since you brought it up.."[i]she retorts, she sighs slightly and her grey eye's harden. The barkeep knows her well enough to leave it, and saunters down the other end of the bar.[/i]

[b]JT walks in in his cowboy shit, and sits right in the middle of the bar, ordering a whiskey[/b]

[i]The movement around the bar wakes her from her daze, when she see's JT she smiles warmly,[/i] " Hey hon, how you doin ?"

"Not bad, yourself?" [b]he asked, tipping his cowboy hat your way[/b]

" Not so good tonight, memories doin a number on me, hence the drinking"

"Ah, you want to talk about it? Got quite a few stories over the years, I've likely experienced something similar to you"

[i]She looks like she is about to shut down ,when the barman interjects;[/i][b]"for godsake Light talk to someone before you drink me dry, your making my liquor look like pish-water"[/b][i]he pours her another. She sighs, [/i] " where to begin?"

[b]He waits patiently for her[/b]

[i] She thinks for a little while[/i] "I supposed compared to you or Hunter its not much really but,its been keeping me awake. my first job as off world pilot, i was flying a small passenger craft. 5 passengers and me. a mother and her two kids, on their way to see the husband working on a colony base. And 2 engineers. As soon as we were out of recall or assistance, the engineers turned out to be a couple of escaped cons,nasty ones at that. things went to sht pretty fast." [i] Her voice goes quiet,she can't find any words ,her eyes go from abject grief to utter fury,and then hopeless resignation.[/i] "Sorry JT I can't" [i] It comes out barely a whisper[/i]

[i] She nods to the barman,[/i] " Paddy let him through with you, just keep him behind the bar." [i]She lifts the kid over the bar, before letting him down [/i] " Who is coming"

[b]he flails his arms anime style and runs in a circle for awhile, then falls strait onto his face, unconcious. Several little things fall out of his massive backpack [/b]
