I'd say Infinite Link is pretty rare because all these veterans are antisocial

It's not that we are anti social, it's the fact that we are essentially grinding up another character with no good reward that benefits us. From what I know, the veterans will get a shader, emblem, and a sword. I don't like the shader nor the emblem and the sword isn't all that good. So I don't see the point in that refer a friend. I rather just help someone out normally. The

Yeah the sword looks cool but too bad it's nothing special. My friend bought ttk and noticed that i was playing so he linked me for help. Got him to level 38 within 2 days.

Nope. Lots of vets trying for it hard to find someone who wants to join a complete stranger.
