Guardians Line the tower Creating a path from the ship Dock to the vanguard table, A large ship flies in and Out comes Eclipse an enemy of the light and the tower as people have whispered. Two other titans Hold him by his shoulder as he is dragged His armor of his legs scraping against the ground as the exit the ship.
His armor is cracked and broken his helmet is gone and his face is bloody. A third titan follows Holding the Red death in a case. As they drag Eclipse through the tower some guardians boo at him and throw whatever they can reach in his direction.
Others turn their head and some just look on quietly. The rest....they cheer for what his fate beholds by the vanguard. To some eclipse was a legend, others he was a enemy. The titans hold hammers in their opposite hands Fire igniting them to make sure no one interferes.
They approach the main section of the tower and walk past the vaults and down the stairs. They walk past eris, she says nothing when they walk past shaxx he looks down. He knew Eclipse, Eclipse loved to fight in the crucible. Finally they enter the vanguard area, Zavala And Ikora Sits there and watch this traitor of the Light being dragged.
Yet cayde isn't present for whatever reason. Eclipse doesn't look up at the vanguard He just watches the floor quietly. Zavala walks to him and take his hand and puts it under Eclipse's chin and lifts it up to face him, "Hello Eclipse How long you have avoided us you and that cursed gun,
So you have eluded us so much tell me who has helped you?" Eclipse says nothing and just stares into his eyes His face still dripping with blood. "No one will come to help you titan and we will destroy that gun of yours so no one can use it again."

Edited by cloudless9: 12/27/2015 8:43:14 PM-a few hours earlier- Jonathan was on Phobos. Investigating the remains of the Cabal base. Since the Guardians left after defeating the Taken, it was dead and quiet. That doesn't mean useless however. Tendrils of Taken power still lingering, even if weaker. After the whole Ogre situation with Reya, he got some very useful information. He continued to dig and eventually found that even in a different dimension, Taken generally stayed near where they originally died. Exceptions like the Hands of Oryx were rare cases. So maybe she was still here, hiding in the cold Dark between dimensions. He would just have to- "Sorry to cut in but I think you'll be interested in this" "What?" "The Tower is broadcasting a signal. Something about them locating a powerful Titan with the name 'Eclipse'" "Why do I care if a Rouge is found?" "Remember that Reya was looking for a Titan named Eclipse who caries the Red Death?" Averlia was right. There was that. Perhaps John should visit a few old friends... -present- John's last one or two friends in the Tower kept him informed, however biased the information might be. They were not fans of the Vanguard and thus not reliable sources. But at this point John took what he could get. The Vanguard must have seriously been worried about this guy. They pulled out all the stops. Two rows of Guardians stretched from the Hangar to the Vanguard's Hall. There must have been at least 500. That was overkill. Although the real guards, other Sunbreakers, numbered only 10% of that. Still a lot but actually manageable. Zavala and Ikora stood waiting for him. Cayde-6 was nowhere to be found which struck him as odd. Probably took any chance he got to slip out. Jonathan was wearing no armor and only civilian clothes. He was bustling around the Tower North when he heard the ship arrive. His own was just behind the Cities' walls. He may need a quick getaway. When the time came he snuck over the edge of the Tower until he came to the Courtyard. Near the area where Eris Morn originally set up. He managed to get closer and closer until he was hanging from the other side of the Tower, where Lord Saladin came. He was on the other side of the glass outside but could still catch what Zavala was babbling to Eclipse. John carefully got to work on the window until a small pane fell out of it's hold silently into the City. He couldn't just shatter the reinforced glass. He swung into the room undetected as everyone focused on Zavala and Eclipse. He centered himself on the room and let loose a shrill whistle. Just loud enough for the room. Then he spoke, "Hey, Zavala. Looking gruff as ever. And Ikora. Damn I swear. If you don't let your hair out every once in a while I'll have to steal every razor in the Tower. I remember when you had locks before all this. Such a pretty color..." He drifted off for a second as everyone just looked confused at this new arrival. "Anyways. I get I'm not welcome. But considering I actually know that Titan, I would deeply appreciate it if you released his custody to me. Of course I know you're not going to do that. So it was really a courtesy." John snapped his fingers as his armor transmitted from his ship to his body and his custom sword, Orlief's Anger, appeared in his hands. "I don't want a fight. So admit that you have nowhere near enough guards to subdue me and I won't trash the place... Except for... The window... Yeah..."
-
Zavala looks at him and walks over and stands in front of him "And why should we hand him over to someone who isn't allowed here as well? And how would you know, just becasue you see two sunbreaker doesn't mean there's more"
-
John just smiled. It was warm and inviting. But a hint of a smirk was there, if ever so slight. "Ahhh Zavala. You don't change, do you? I see two Sunbreakers. However, I know you have exactly 56 posted. Now, I'm not going to say that won't be a spectacular fight, but, much as you hate it, I am still the most powerful Stormcaller the Light has to offer." John breathed deep and flexed his powerful frame. The stench of ozone filled the air, you could almost feel it. The electricity that flowed from him. The powers of Mother Nature. "You tell me. Think you have enough men?" The warm grin morphed into that of something big and hungry.
-
Zavala remains unfazed "You didn't answer why you want him john. Hes a criminal and he was helped by vanguard we believe a women of hunter status"
-
"You think I'm a criminal too! Doesn't make it true. I want him because I want to hear his story. If I don't like it then... Well you already know I kill a good deal of Dark Guardians. And if he's just a friend who doesn't want to be here then let him be rouge. That's your problem Zavala. Too black and white." John stopped trying to intimidate and just planted his sword in the ground. He leaned on it and reverted back to his childish character.
-
Zavala Looks at eclipse "Fine but we sit down at the table and Listen"
-
-sigh- "I'm not cut out for prim and proper society but I can try" He tore his sword free and sheathed it. He walked over to a free chair and sat down. He put an arm over the back of the chair and looked at Zavala. "Continue. I won't interfere... Now"
-
The two guardians drag Eclipse and throw him into a chair and The stand next to him. Eclipse doesn't look up from the ground. Zavala walks over and sits down" Look at the person which might give you freedom worm!"
-
"No need for any of that Zavala. Aren't you supposed to be the good guys? Camping next to our dead God just because some white robed lunatic says so? But whatever. I'm not interrupting"
-
Zavala Looks at John with annoyance and looks at eclipse "Come on Eclipse if you want to live say somthing" Eclipse doesn't move his gaze bug speaks "To you little children it doenst matter you'll just kill me regardless and piss off so many people"
-
"Me for starters. I won't be happy if you condemn him for his rifle." John looks at Eclipse. "Although I would try to make a case. I'll chime in to help so it's not completely one sided but don't expect much"
-
"You part me from my rifle you will regret it. I use to the rifle so no one else falls to it but that doenst mean it doesn't come with a price, I'll go insane after 2 days without it" Zavala slams his fist on the table "Which is why you need ro die and this gun destroyed!"
-
John just laughed a little bit. "You really have no idea how curses work, do you Zavala? Even if you destroy that weapon, the curse will still remain and seek out a new host"
-
Eclipse keeps looking down "Yes he's right would you rather have the weapon in the hands of a guardian that can control it, or one that cant?" Zavala looks annoyed "Well we can always throw you in jail with it but no ammo"
-
John rubbed his short goatee for a bit. "I mean you COULD do that. Probably not a good idea. He probably won't go insane from the curse but he might go insane from the fact that he's, you know, in prison." John rose from his seat and walked over to the Guardian holding the cased Red Death. "Yeah, that's the original alright. The Guardian who originally cursed it had more knowledge of the arcane than most Praxic Warlocks. Very powerful indeed." He leaning close to the case and asked "Mind if I hold it? Probably do but I really don't care. If I had the prototypes I might be able to at minimum understand the mechanics"
-
Eclipse looks up at him "You can hold it I guess, but it will be only a gun to you and you don't know how it works. There's alot more to it then you know"
-
John gives a dark grin. "Don't be so sure. I may not have had the original but I've had copies. Even linked to one" John carefully lifted the case and raised the gun out slowly. "Oh yeah. There's tainted Light in here. A lot. It almost has a life of its own"
-
"I will kill you tho if you shoot it at anyone"
-
"Ahhh I'm not that mean" John twisted the rifle every way imaginable. Even stared down the barrel. "There's something about this... It's not the taint but it's dark..." John pulled the firing chamber open and peered inside. The inside of the chamber was filthy with a black goo. He ran his finger along the chamber and sniffed the substance. "Oh. That's corruption alright. Ugh. That stinks. It appears to use a combination of smartmatter and Light to produce and regeneration affect. But it's also highly addictive. Very smart system
-
Eclipse Laughs lightly "Sad thing is its not the real gun, it's hidden you really think I'm gonna let anyone else have it"
-
Edited by Zalamiir: 12/29/2015 4:43:12 AM
Ignore this
-
John turned slowly and looked at him. "Are you serious?" He looked down at a rifle which before he held with awe and now looked at it as a cheap fake. It was actually rather high quality for a fake but the point is made. "I can't get anything I don't already know about the gun from this" He put the rifle down and got back in his seat. "Anything to add there?"
-
Eclipse Laughs again "I'm not gonna let anyone else hold that gun, what it does to others what it can do is not for their hands. I can control it I can keep it under wraps and if you kill me all that will be a waste" Zavala gets up and punches Eclipse across the face
-
"Woah. Easy their big guy. His head is in the right place even if he's wrong" John turned to look at Eclipse. "You're going to have to get this one way or another. This is a saying a live by. 'There's always someone better.' You just make damn sure you don't meet them" He turned back to Zavala. "And honestly I'm surprised you haven't gotten a heart attack. You need to calm the hell down"
-
Zavala decks Eclipse a few more times leaving his face bloody once more "Keeps going Zavala show me what the vanguard is truly capable of"
