If I had the money, i'd buy a ps4 as well JUST for no mans sky. All my friends are on xbox so it would've been lonely if I got a ps4 instead of an xbox one.

It's also going to be on PC. Of course... You'll end up paying more for a PC but it'll also last you a lot longer.

I will probably just "borrow" a ps4 if it turns out to be a really fun game.
