She looks at him confused.
" I asked what you were doing , your answer was deflective so I assumed you did not wish to talk " she hurriedly bows again" Forgive me if I have caused offence."

"Why are you treating me like your commanding officer?"
-
Her mouth opens and closes a couple of times before she finally speaks. " Because I am trained to defer to authority based on rank or experience, you're not military but I've had 7 years in black ops and I can recognise a 'master' when I see one "
-
"I was military. And I am a master. Of what? You can figure that out." His mask retracts to reveal a man in his mid-twenties, brown hair and a lock of hair falling in front of his face, plus icy blue eyes that seem to pierce through her, and chill the air around him. http://m.imgur.com/NHsLIWJ.jpg

She seems pleased that her assessment was spot on, her pale eyes carefully familiarise themselves with his features. She often would only get to see a target once and she would have to be certain she was executing the correct target,
-
"You're profiling me. What exactly were you trained for?" He asks, putting his elbows on his knees. "Also, your name?" He grins.
-
" my designation is Echo , I have no....name. I was part of a unit of 5 , we lived and worked together everyday since we were recruited. As Echo, I am the closer, or finisher. I compromise or execute the target. But I have never been on my own."
-
Edited by Will: 12/25/2015 5:24:47 AM"Well Echo, I'm Ronin. Maybe you've heard of me, maybe you haven't." He shrugs. "And you don't have to be on your own."
-
She thinks carefully before answering. " Covered something about a 3 sword technique.and the two people who use it but that's all"
-
He nods. "Perhaps you'll learn a bit more about me if you'd like to stick around."
-
She looks grateful and nods. It would beat running into these people who keep saying one thing then apparently it means something else but no one seems able to tell me what.!" she sighs and sits back down.
-
He chuckles. "You aren't exactly good with people are you?"
-
She looks at him as if to say what is good with people. " I only know two people. Those I work with and those I kill. There hav never been other people."
-
He nods. "I knew a few people like you. They're dead now."
-
" I don't mean I choose to kill those I don't work with, we just aren't allowed to socialise, makes you weak, friends becomes targets for enemies."
-
He smirks, but it's a broken expression, and the iciness of his gaze seems fragile. "You're too young to realize how much truth that holds."
-
Her pale eyes note the change , but she has had enough loss of her own frustrated at being spoken to about what she does or doesn't know " I've just lost the only 4 other people I knew ,that I have spent the last half of my life living with, working with, bleeding with, I know something about loss. One of them was the only blood I have.....had"
-
He nods, his seemingly unbroken demeanor shifting slightly. "Sorry."
-
Shaking her head " It comes with th territory I just figured I wld be th one to be taken out."
-
"Guess we're alike in that way Echo."

-
this girl wasn't joking when she said she's only been around a few people in her life. He thinks to himself. "What branch of the military are you from?"
-
"We were referred to as ' Unit' , Alpha; unit commander, explosives . Beta; Pilot and Extraction. Charlie; Medic . Delta ;Scout and point man,and my twin brother. Echo ; Finisher. We were trained together from the age of 10 to 13 , when we had our first mission. We worked together for seven years, without incident, until our last op. I never had to worry about anything except my mark. Everything we did was designed to get me from point A to point B to terminate the target and then to point C for extraction. I follow orders that's all I do and have done since I was 10 . Get up at 0500 , bed at 2200 , and train in between. Or go on Op. That's my life. Now I have nothing."
-
"I'm sorry Echo."
-
Again she looks puzzled, "why are you sorry, it wasn't your people?"
-
He shrugs. "I don't know. You just look like you need someone to tell you it'll be alright, so I'm trying to be comforting." He chuckles.
