Being introspective around this time of year I asked myself why do I still play this game. I could point to my clear addiction or possibly the gameplay. But in reality I can firmly attest it's the people I play with. Throughout year one and now year two I've made several friends that have shared their time and similar interests with me and I could genuinely say they've enhanced my gaming experience for the better.
Shout out to my clan of idiots that include murdiusmaximus and ponethepoon. Famously funny on the forums but painfully douchy and probably smell in real life. (We all haze each other at all times)
Shout out to the rift runners, the best clan you've never heard of
Shout out to jermlumac, texastbone, cashville, rocket mama, jcope, juck2002, bob3sniper, christianedward, ritchie and many more that are always drunk and stupid with me late at night playing this god awful yet addicting and fun game
Why do you still play?
-
Because battlefront refuses to sign me in with my EA Account and I cannot play it. Only alternative is Minecraft PS4 :(

Edited by GhostRydr: 12/25/2015 8:19:54 PM1) I'm addicted and I don't care. I had hoped the latest Halo would be good enough to cure me of that addiction but, alas, that did not happen. 2) You meet new people every other successful raid/strike run. I particularly enjoy playing with other people online without being competitive about it. Cooperating towards victory and the hope of good loot is always refreshing. 3) Ridiculously fun and tight gunplay, regardless whether the game is considered flawed or repetitive.

Um, It's awesome and the best game out there and has been for the last year and half.
-
I have no idea, but I still do.
-
I enjoy the game for what it is and it's better than most shooters I've had to play. Halo 5 exists and BO3 is just a Titanfall remake.
-
I play to just have fun with my friends and Ti explore this really amazing world
-
Reasons why I play destiny 1. Friends 2. Events Usually my friend is only on like one weekend a month, and I usually get on one day when they events come around, play a bit then stop playing. So I usually play a just a few days a month.
-
OMG SHUT UP. WHY R U STILL HERE is the real question
-
I don't XD I just like to check the forums every once and a while to see what the latest complaints are
-
Why? Because i like Destiny. Don't get me wrong, it's utter shit but it's enjoyable and it's certainly done a good job with TTK. Yes i play other games but i like to come back on the weekly resets and have fun in the raid and other activities.
-
I can play more than one game of my liking
-
Friends if it wernt for them i wouldnt play i normally play when their online anyways.
-
Just fun. I meet new people. Only game that gives me a sense of accomplishment anymore.
-
Still trying to finish the Raid, ToM quest, achieve 320 light
-
I play because it's the best shooter out there. Fallout 4 was a fallout 3 but a little better. Great game. But it got old for me fast. Destiny has the best gun player ever. I can't believe it didn't win more awards.
-
Just recently stopped playing and now I'm addicted to SWTOR
-
Same reason as you. My interesting friends
-
Because I like pvp.
-
I still play because it is taking FOREVER to seduce you, big boy.
-
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/109777922/0/0/1 this is why
-
I find it fun and enjoy playing it
-
Because it's fun. Isn't that the point of a video game?
-
Trials mostly, maybe raids after reset just so I finally hit 320 (stuck at 318-319) that's it though.
-
How does painfully douchey differentiate from douchey? haha
-
Because starwars wasn't all it cracked up to be....
-
I'm trapped in space with a couple of wise cracking robots. Instead of movies they are making me play Destiny.
