The New Ship-Bridge
Python stood in the bridge, massive arms crossed as he stared out at space. They were traveling, just in no decided direction.
Is it over?
Hopefully.
And if it's not?
We kill her, again.
He shook his head and looked around, the Bridge was empty besides him, the doors open. They needed a crew, they needed an army to run a ship of this size.
Give it a week or so and the fighting will start up again.
A week? I would go a few days, if that.
Eh, just being optimistic.
It was the end of the year, month of the holidays. How would they celebrate? Get drunk like how they used too? Or start a new tradition? He'd probably just get drunk and pass out. Whiskey? No. Wine? No. Now, spiked eggnog....that was the way to go. Or maybe a few beers? He'd decide later, still a lot of work to do.

a female figure standing at 10 feet tall walks into the bridge
-
He looks over his shoulder. "...and who are you?" Standing from his seat, you see him put a hand on his pistol.

"It was....bloody too."

"Don't know..."

Marie walks around the hangar. Checking out the ships in there.

After she and everyone else has boarded the cruiser, it seems to take off on it's own. After turning a few degrees to port, it jumps to warp speed, knocking off several systems and making the ship shake.

I walk in and put my feet up on a console "Enjoying the view, are we?"
-
"Yeah...it's a new ship, why not, right?" He doesn't look back.
-
"Space rocks. Right through the windshield. That's why."
-
He chuckles, looking down then back up at space. "Valid point."
-
"My points are always valid Python. Anyways, what are we off to next?"
-
"Depends what needs saving. Until then, drink up and have a Merry mother-blam!-ing Christmas." He chuckles.
-
"Ah humbug. Christmas is nothing but trouble."
-
"Maybe we'll get lucky this year?"
-
"Probably not."
-
"We can still hope, right?"
-
"Absolutely."

Suddenly, a barely visible blue wave travelled across the ship. It seemed mostly harmless, until all of the computer systems began going haywire. The ship turned several degrees to starboard, seemingly on an automated course.
-
Python tried to counter it, while still keeping the doors open for that...unit to enter the hangar.

They barely made it inside the ship when the blast doors closed shut and the warp engines roared to life. There was something odd about this ship. Yes, it was old, but it's origins were unknown. It was, back from where it came, an exploration vessel, the first and last of the Odyssey-Class long range/multi-mission exploration vessel. In fact, it was the first ever to make the long voyage to the Milky Way. Since then, the crew had died long ago, and the ship was left to gather dust, until unlikely explorers would awaken it again. It scanned the Subspace frequency net for a relay, and found one. The RCS Odyssey. It traced the coordinates back home. To Andromeda. It's almost prehistoric engines violently threw the ship forward into warp space, almost as if it was answering to ancient orders. The Ship's Computer had taken control, and a single terminal had opened on the bridge, on the Tactical console.
