One that wont make noise....
Metal?
Wood?
Nail it on the floor?
I don't want the mattress on the floor all the time.
Somebody help.
Edit: I have wood one that had planks for holding the mattress....and after certain use one of the planks broke. Got a metal floor mattress to hold it up now in between the wood frame but its noisy. Maybe I will put sponges around the metal frame so it wont hit against the wood. Or something I dunno....
Thanks for the replies.

Maybe make this a poll. I'm on the fence. Metal creaks a lot if it is just bolted together, and wood has a much higher chance of breaking if it is poorly constructed and is made of soft wood (like pine, which is the crap most store bought crap is made of). I would go with a hand constructed hardwood bed
