I had the quest glitched for me. found out why. y1 TLW. kills with TLW gave 1 deaths took 2. no points for secondary, melee, grenade, super, or heavy kills. got to 75 or so %. then switched my loadout to stormcaller/ shotgun. got some good killstreaks in. 3 matches later. was at 0 renowned. after testing i found only the HC kills counted. and only for 1. gave up on it. now i got TLW y2. and tested it again when i got it. all kills count and quest works as it should. took me 3 matches to get to 78. it's A LOT easier this time around. lol. Moral of the story. Make sure you use the Y2 last word.

Funny because I completed it with a y1 last word a couple weeks in when ttk dropped on ps4. However, I didn't do the strike till months later for some reason.

I was upset by the fiasco. asked if it was glitching for others (it was) and what could i do to get it to work right. No answer except, "use supers and heavy then switch off" .... except those weren't giving me renown. no one bothered to actually read my post. so i put it on ice. it's working fine now with my Y2 TLW. can't wait for my Chaperone. miss my universal remote. the chaperone of Y1. haha.

Its hard to do alone since you have to kill the bros with a shotgun. I imagine someone else killing them with a freakin primary or super most the time. My bro helped get their life down & let me know so i could charge in with the invective (best shotgun ever).

You don't actually have to kill them with a shotgun. You just have to have one equipped.
