Went to equip my hunter's exotic Nightstalker's Cloak and it now says "requires Taken King Collector's Edition." Similar lockouts are happening for other items I have on other characters. What is going on? It has always worked just fine and now that there is the Life Exotic, I wanted to run that with my other exotic armor, but it won't let me. My only guess... We recently upgraded to an XBOX One and I had to buy Destiny again since our original vanilla version was on disc and we weren't aware of the digital dual platform deal. All of the later stuff was download -- TDB, HoW and TTK Digital Collector's Edition. The version that is most commonly available to buy right now (and the only one for XBOX One at the Microsoft Store right now) is The Legendary Edition. According to the marketing ON BUNGIE'S OWN SITE, [b]"The Taken King Legendary Edition is the [u]complete[/u] collection in one epic package."[/b] "Complete" means complete -- "everything." While it may not GRANT items, it sure as hell shouldn't take them away! I paid for those items. Will the cloak and other items at least become usable on 1/1/16, the magic date the Suros guns will start dropping in the regular game?
