Destiny and Drug use
I'm sorry, I might go into a bit of a rant here.
But I've been noticing a trend recently where in every party I join there is at least one and usually multiple people telling tall tails about how high they are.
Now honestly, I don't care that you use whatever. Some of the people I regularly play with do some type of drug or another.
What baffles me is how some people tend to think they're somehow badasses for having the ability to pop a pill in their mouths. Nobody cares that it's "legal in your state". I'm from holland, do you think we go around advertising our drug use to every random person we meet? Not only does it make you look kind of dumb, but do you even realize there's also younger kids playing this game that might actually think it's kinda cool that you get to stay home all day, smoke weed and play video games while you're ignoring your crying child in the background?
I hate to be that guy, but damn, show some dignity.

Coming from the users point of view honestly I never say how "high" I am or bring it up more often then not its people assuming/ asking then they strike up a conversation about it and honestly I could careless about the time u did "blank" can we finish the raid ? Lol and yes I know smoke breaks can be annoying but come on when ur in a shitty fire team it's hard not to want to de stress and every one dose that in there own way now the thing that I absolutely can not stand is when some one brags about there usage especially the young ones it honestly is upsetting to hear and dose not in any way make them look "cool" [spoiler]yes grammar natzis I left out punctuation sorry I'm on my phone lol [/spoiler]

Look at me, etc" Give me a break. I don't care what you do, or even if you like talking about it every once and awhile. Most of us have experimented. But some people go around bragging about how high they are like it's a contest. Like they've just won the Olympic medal for getting high. I'm not going as far as to say users should even be ashamed or have to hide what they're doing. But, seriously, you don't have to go around bragging all the time like you just cured cancer or something. No offense to the non-douchie hipsters out there.

Your dumb if you announce it with kids in a lobby, but ive had times where the dudes and I in my fireteam are just discussing the weed we are smoking, strain, feeling, what we are smoking with not all are of them are stoners, some their lives don't permit them to smoke anymore so they live vicariously through us haha. But I would deff agree if your just sitting there saying g I'm so ooooooooo suuuupppppeeeeerrrrr sttttooonneedddd brruuhhhh oooommmmmmgggggggggeerrrrddddd thisssss dddaaan,nnkkkkyyyyy ttthhoouugghh uhhhhhhh ss ooooooooo stooooooneedddd then yea hahah it's time for the booot!

My definition of getting high is different. Snorting a foot long hot rail of meth is getting high to me. Smoking a blunt is getting stoned.

I don't care what they do, but I don't care to hear about it the whole time. Has weed changed since 02, I had no problem with smoking and talking about things other than weed.

8 RepliesI don't like to play high, i normally smoke once we're done raiding. I will raid on Adderall or coke though, some of my best playing then, usually my best pvp as well. Shrooms i end up just look up and stare at the sky then turn it off and go do that in real life.

13 RepliesMaybe I paranoid but I don't advertise my pursuits as I have no f$&@ing clue who is on ther other end of the speaker. I don't need or want anyone to know what I choose to do or not do. Think before you speak, this is advice not a condemnation nor insult. Do you want the fuzz showing up cause you spoke about buying whatever while playing. Or worse, do want to be part of why someone tries something and gets in over their head. And gateway drugs of whatever sort aren't needed for someone to become an addict.

To me the real problem you seem to have is people overly talking about their out of destiny hobbies or the fact that they're rude and can't figure out where the mute button is. Same could be said of someone who has allergies and is sneezing all the time. Or someone who constantly talks to someone in the same room as them without muting.
