So some buddies and I were getting bored in 6v6, so we decided, since 2 of us live near each other, to try and set up a 3v3 game among ourselves.
Almost immediately we managed to match with one another and we set the rules: NLB and Sidearm(Except for Axle who insisted on only using Dreg's Promise), no super or heavy(Except for Axle who was being a turd and kept self-resing), grenades and melees were fine, any subclass was fine. And I wish one of us had been streaming at the time, so you guys could hear the hilarity in the party chat. We had such a fun time doing this and did a bunch of different gametypes as the matches went on. No-scope snipers only, PvE builds only, etc. We had so much fun with it and it made me sincerely wish that there was a private match feature in Destiny.

I would actually even go as far as to say that if Destiny 2 doesnt have private games then the community shouldnt bother buying it Of course I know that wont happen because Bungie will release a trailer and people will be OMG PLEZ TEKS MA MONIEZ

Yeah I have always wanted private matches. I miss the old days of halo when you just chilled with your friends and set weird rules. I mean private matches on halo 2 were what birthed the ACTUAL zombies games on halo 3. Imagine what the community could do if they had the same creative capabilities on destiny. It's already a way more active community than any halo game before it. We just don't have all the same tools at our disposal.

I don't think private matches would be worth the time and effort in a game where the majority of the population thinks that "backfills are good because I get my post-game rewards quicker". You honestly think these people would mess around in a game mode that didnt have rewards? I doubt it.
