So I thought the point of the mercy rule was to stop an obvious shut out before it got out of hand. In the patch notes where the implemented the rule they specifically stated that upon a mercy rule being called they would stop players from being able to join. as to not constantly force players into loosing games with no chance of playing nonetheless winning. Problem is people still get thrown into loosing games mercy ruled games and games that probably should of been mercy ruled already. I don't understand the implementation of the mercy rule if I still spend more than half my time trying to be put into a match that I actually have a shot at winning or even playing. Match making shouldn't be throwing players into already started games. Cause 9 times out of 10 matching stuck you in that lobby cause 14 other people left as the game was hopeless. Cmon bungie you have got to know we're just going to leave that match, so why throw players in there in the first place.

I was on a dominating team once and the mercy rule did not kick in. 5000-20000 and nothing happened. Guess shaxx didn't have mercy for them. I don't know.

I joined a loosing salvage match. The two people left then two people joined. In a second we got mercy ruled.
Saved me time and I got my marks.
