Another weak willed loser! You're a disgrace to real addicts.
Wow. We have hipster addicts now. If u have any experience with addiction then u know this game has a very real possibility of causing one. The fact u used weak willed in the context of discussing addiction tells me u should probably be muted.

Addiction to a video game. Gtfo. It has no physical control over you like herion, crack, alcohol, etc ect. If you can't get off your ass and put the controller down, you are weak-willed. You're not going to have shakes from not playing destiny, you won't be hospitalized for not playing destiny, you won't be going to the methadone clinic from not playing destiny.

Look man. There is no way I'm going to debate such a complex issue on a damn destiny forum but take a look at some of those gjallarhorn videos where it shows grown ass men acting like they won the lottery. That is a reaction totally out of line with what a person who doesn't participate in Destiny would consider normal. It's why the videos were so funny because they were absurd. You are looking at a huge endorphin rush to that persons brain. The same endorphins that are released when u do all those drugs that people are "allowed" to be addicted to. Your body doesn't have different sets of endorphins for situations. It's one size fits all and if the external stimulii are appropriate, they will be released. These endorphins cause the "high". These "highs" are what we chase. It's why Destiny can be addicting for some people. Probably a small percentage but it shouldn't be trivialized. You think it's only an addiction if it's associated with physical symptoms. This isn't true.

Some people have addictive tendencies. Just because it isn't a substance that causes withdrawal doesn't mean you can't be addicted to it. Mental addictions are a real thing. Just an FYI.

If you allow a video game to cost you your family you are a loser.

If you allow drugs and alcohol to ruin your family you're a loser.

I concur.
