The following is a listing of rank and description of each of the Mechanicus Positions. [u]Please Note this Section is under construction. Please be mindful of the Servators.[/u] [b]Fabricator General[/b] [spoiler]The Fabricator General is the Highest Rank of the Mechanicus. He serves as the chief priest in the Cult Mechanicus and also as the Planetary Governor of the Forge world Mars. As such He is also granted a seat in the [i]Senatorum Imperialis[/i], a right almost exclusive to the High Lords of Terra.[/spoiler] [b]Fabricator Locum[/b] [spoiler]The Fabricator Locum Is the second highest position on Mars and the highest Position on other forge worlds. General duties include the oversight of Production Quotas and maintaining the proper devotions to the Omnisiah. The Most renown of this position was Fabricator Locum Kane who sided with the Emperor during the Horus Heresy. [/spoiler] [b] [u]Upper Priesthood[/u][/b] [b]Magos[/b] [spoiler]The Magos (Magi) Is a broad term used to describe a high Ranking Tech Priest in a particular area of study. These specialized departments are refered to as Divisiones (Divisio). Some of the Divisiones are; Alchemys, Biologis, Technicus, Logis, Xenologis, Lexmechanicus, Orbologis, Cybernetica, Xenobiologis, Astrologicus, Digitalis, Fabricator, Geneus, Physic, Explorator, Errant, and more. Each one that i know of will be further explained below.[/spoiler] ~Magos Explorator [spoiler]A sect Of Magos that are obsessed with the pursuit of lost knowledge. Most notable is their obsession to find a Standard Template Construct (STC) of which many of humanities technology is based off of. This group will walk into battle in their self proclaimed quest to bring humanity back forgotten or advanced technology. [/spoiler] ~Magos Errant [spoiler]The oddball of the Magos. The Errant is the Jack of all trades. they are schooled in many Divisiones before being attached to Expedition fleets or Rouge Traders. In return for their priceless knowledge on the ships They are allowed to study any interesting sites or objects that the fleet may come across and extradite it back to the Mechanicus[/spoiler] [b]Logis[/b][spoiler] The Logis is skilled in mathematics and data analysis. Purposly used for a logisticals and statistician they predict full scale demographics and sociological trends along with resource expenditure. They are often refer to as Prophets in the Mechanicus.[/spoiler] [b]Genetor [/b] [spoiler]The Genetor, Also refered to as Magos Biologis or Magos Xenobiologis are quite different from the rest of the Mechanicus. These sub sect focus on Organic life rather than the Mechanical as is the norm of the Mechanicus. Xenobiologis in particular strives the line on heretical theories they study the strengths and weaknesses of alien species. It should also be noted that this sect is responsible for the Geneseed tithe of the space marine chapters along with the Foundings of new chapters.[/spoiler] [b]Artisan[/b] [spoiler]Also known as Constructors, this is the priest hood devoted to the designing and building of new devices across the emporium. As such they can be found across the galaxy pursuing any variety of projects while leading a vast scores of Servators.[/spoiler] [u][b]Lower Priesthood[/b][/u] [b]Electro Priest[/b] [spoiler]This sect is the fanatical warriors of the priest hood and are used as support units to other mechanicus units. Their epidermal layers of skin are laced with Electroo circuits which intertwine with the priest Neural Cortex. these circuits allow the priest to generate Bio-electricity that can be released from the priest as a weapon.[/spoiler] [b]Enginseer[/b] [spoiler]The bulk of the priesthood, this lower class acts ans normal repair and maintenance crews on technology. This sect can be found intermingled into every other part of the Imperium including but not limited to the Gaurd, Navy, Inquisition, and Titan Crews. They are deemed the lowest of the priesthood but a necessity to allow the priesthood to exist.[/spoiler] [b]Rune Priest[/b] [spoiler]The rune priest is the counterpart to the Enginseer. as the enginseer works with the repair of the machine the rune priest deals with the religious aspect of appeasing the Machine spirit residing within it. often they are held in disregard by the higher priest hoods because of their tendency to create unorthodox solutions to a problem[/spoiler] [b]Transmechanic[/b] [spoiler]This sect deals with the repair operation and maintenance of the various communication devices employed across the Imperium. As such they are often employed by the Imperial Navy.[/spoiler] [b]Lexmechanic[/b] [spoiler]Also known as the Calculus Logi, this sect compiles data to be logged into a Cognator system. This is the acting Scribes and Librarians of the Mechanicus. The are commonly used in the Adeptus Administatum but can also be found in the Adeptus Terra.[/spoiler]
