Wasnt sure whether he was talking about Gorgon Maze door or the Vault itself.
You can get past the Vault door at the start Solo, very easily.

I find it very difficult to solo the three sync plates. Always seems like I can hold 2 but the third always gets taken over. Maybe it's my strat when I attempt to solo

Jump on sparrow, drive out of area, wait 3 mins, drive back. Spire is formed, drive up till your parallel with the vault door, jump off sparrow, it glitches you through the door. You're in.
