I'm skeptical. Been playing since alpha, been infatuated with this game since before... however with recent updates about how we're going to receive content in the upcoming months...scare me. Why? Because with all that new content will be microtransactions. And lets be honest we're all iffy on it, and as of recent there's been a boost pack added that definitely makes the ethics of bungie look [u]suspicious[/u].... at best... I'm scared for what will be in store for the future. Bungie isn't giving us a transparent schedule to look forward to, and the srl is fun, but half asses [b]in my opinion [/b]. 2 maps is a cop out, i think at least [b]4 [/b] should have been added. I want this game to succeed so badly...but it's just getting worse everytime i see it. And it's not only putting me as a dedicated player off, but a good portion of the fan base off as well. At this point i just want destiny to stop, and bring on the next actual instalment. No matter how ignorant or stupid that may sound.
At the end of the day i want this game to succed since this has the potential to stand the test of time.

Destiny is ine profit maximisation phase. Think how in game purchases work for f2p apps and that is the direction.

I don't agree with your statement but I do respect your opinion. Would you care to elaborate in more detail on what exactly you thing Bungie is doing so I can better understand your theory?

This is common in business at the mid to end part if the life of a product. Fyi other focuses include, cost reduction (would be where they scale back reams, non long term assets) Premum provider (offering leading edge content at a pace and at a premium this would be analagous to year 1) Grwoth seeker (where they focus on player expansion, the demo and beta served this as does price drops and special offers) The direction of apps, cosmetic in game features and minor content that adds a layer to the game at a cost i.e SRL. But not significant content. This is based on business experience at a fairly senior level where products and services are offered. Also customer strategy is important alongside shareholder returns. This is in a multibillion pound company, probably top 50 in europe, maybe bigger. Capitilisation is > 10bn and based all around the world.

You didn't sound ignorant friend. I feel that way too. Hopefully the micros don't go to far but I'm ready for something new as well. As big as they mad the dreadnaught ou to be, it seems really small. I want to explore. I want to have a full lobby of 16 guardians on earth fighting a mega raid boss on patrol. I wanna go to a new planet. I wanna launch an assist on the cabals home world and fly my ship there while taking out opposing forces. I want something.
