At least the lives of gen 3 synths. They have a free will, consciousness and emotions just like humans.
But on the other hand. They can be a serious threat to humanity. They are artificial. They are not created by nature. They have no soul. Or have they?
I always find myself on the fence.

YOUR A SYNTH, AREN'T YOU!?
-
If they treat Mister Handies and Eyebots like they have purposes, then Synths should deserve some too. Nick Valentine, for example, when he was being held by Triggermen, they treated him like a dirty animal.

Edited by RH Stealth: 12/20/2015 3:05:21 AMCertainly. To people who say no, and have played Mass Effect... think about Legion. Didn't he matter? ( •_•)

People who say "no" need to watch the Star Trek TNG episode "Measure of a Man". It's on netflix.

I don't really understand the gen 3s to be honest. They're indistinguishable from humans, so assumedly they have the full set of human parts, including a brain. So how is it you can shut down an organic brain with a command? Doesn't make any sense. They would have to have some mechanical parts, otherwise they're just lab created clones, and 100% human.
-
My question is did it hurt when you killed paladin danse did you wanted to kill him or not?
-
I don't know. Once you say a certain phrase/code they immediately kinda shutdown and forget their recent memory. So, does it all matter if their system can be shut down so easily? Maybe... It probably does since you don't know if you're one. What if you found out that you're a synth all this time? You'd be damned to let anyone erase your memories, right? :3

All synths are technology gone too far, they must all be exterminated. AD VICTORIUM BROTHERS!!
-
Of course. They're alive.
-
The only way things will change is if we stop treating them like property and start treating them like human beings, to treat them as if they were our children.

The railroad is bad shit crazy

I promote equality for synths. The institute treats them as slaves and the brotherhood off steel treats them as mindless lunatics. I'm very much against both factions. However, I'm not willing to give my life to save a synth. At the end of the day, they are still just machines. If one dies, a perfect copy can be made. If I die, I can never be replaced.

Kill them all
Except for Paladin Danse
Poll Penis

Stupid question but can my villagers be synths?

Maxson (paraphrasing): The greatest threat to humanity is itself. Proceeds to kills many synths. Proof that Gen3 Synths are human.

After reading a few logs in computers while I do pity the ones that decide to run its actually one scientists doing. The synths that run off are programed to believe they should be free. It's all the work of a confused scientist.
-
Yes, I don't see how they're any more of a threat than humanity in general.
-
Well... You do get good Karma for helping the Synth in Fallout 3...
-
"I think, therefore I am."
-
Tell me, how are we as humans any less of a threat to ourselves than a copy of a human?
-
As soon as they are programmed with Asimov's laws
-
Well seeing as how me and the minute men gave the institute a lethal dose of freedom made proudly in the USA I'd say no synth lives don't matter Except paladin danse and nick Valentine
-
Only valentine and danse
